We had an 06 Vitara with all the options and it was a very nice small SUV. Much better that the CRV in terms of everything except for ride quality. We got rid of it a year later because of the size but if it was any other way we would’ve kept that but we traded for the new 2007 XL7 both amazing efforts from the company at the time. It is a shame the cars didn’t do better than they did because they were very well built vehicles . Even the leather in the Vitara was premium it was just a great suv

I would buy a V6 4x4 version sight unseen, Mom's racked up 240k on the 08., btw her 240k is HARD, she drives it loaded up for her job, which is 7 days a week through the rural country up steep inclines and down slopes .what she does every day your jeep people say one day they'll do it but don't want to get their 35,000$ 4 door wrangler dirty

Still using a diesel 06 SGV to travel upto Scotland weekly then drag generators and Fuel bowsers around a Wind Farm . . .its a well respected work horse, I shall buy another SGV not the new Vitara . . .

I currently have the new 1.4 Vitara (2019), probably the best vehicle I ever owned, super capable and reliable in the mountains where we have a weekend house. My question was, how is the Grand Vitara in regards to fuel economy? I plan on buying a 3 door one. Cheers
