I just bought this car in the molten pearl color shown. I understand that people either love or hate the grill which is fine, but if you have never driven a lexus, you have no right to comment on the performance. This car is worth every bit of the money. From the attention to detail in the interior and exterior design, smooth drive, control, and horsepower, don't hate on what you haven't experienced. Well done Lexus!

If you have never driven a CTS-V - which costs the same money as the GS F - then YOU have no right to comment on performance. Or to say the GS F is worth the money. Drive a CTS-V, then watch the buyer's remorse set in.
@roadrash768 жыл бұрын
Vernon Price I have not driven the CTS-V but I have driven the GSF and C63 AMG and the GSF felt lacking and price is too high at $89,00 for the one I test drove. The C63 was $76,000 very nicely equipped and much more torque. I currently have a 15' RC 350 F-Sport.

How many GSF owners would actually take it to the track? I don't understand the importance of track testing a luxury sport sedan and saying things like "needs stiffer suspension". 99 percent of the time the owners are driving on poorly maintained roads that a softer suspension would be preferred.

@@tylercouture216 never thought I'd see the day where almost 470 hp is considered "underpowered". Of course, if Lexus thought that it was important to their target demographic, they could just twin-turbo that 5 liter V8 & they would get 650+ hp out of it. That would end all the discussion.

They underplay the fact that 99% of drivers don't care about the difference between 0-60 in 4.5 seconds vs 3.5 seconds. Nor would 99% of drivers be capable of operating the cars in such a way as to extract the difference. I could see having the gsf over a regular v-6 gs just because of the power train, but I would never drive it & beat it like they do here. It's just nice to know that the power is there if you want it. In ownership of such expensive cars, build quality, longevity and bulletproof reliability are king. And there's none better than Lexus in that regard.

The updating for the electronic 30 positions suspension, that updates 1,000 times a second to keep the car flat in the corners, was not quite ready for the first year model in 2016, so as Lexus always does, they left that off until 2017 and on, when it was ready for prime time. Germany and Detroit have completely different philosophy and implantation for innovations like that, they put it out there anyway and recall or fix the there new cars, just so they can say they were first with something. Lexus insists on reliability first, not bragging about something that really doesn't even work year. I hate the idea of being on the side of the road in any vehicle, so I also prefer the Lexus attitude over 90% of the other car companies. This guy talking is a car salesman, not an engineer, so when he tells you, you need to be careful not to spin the tires, no you don't, computers on this care are perfect for handling it's power and cornering, you never feel like losing control with this car. Nothing breaks on there, so if you can find a used one, and the combination of luxury and high performance is something you might like, go ahead and include reliability, You'll soon see nothing combines all those like the GSF, I recommend skipping this 2016 model for the much improved suspensions of the later years. You will smile every time you crank up that V-8, sounds great and is the smoothest running V-8 every made.

That's the only thing the Germans sell their buyers speed and boring interior, the Lexus GS is still a champ over BMW and Benz, why they are worth every dime of their money on its price tag, these cars hold their value plus they cost their driver less money in maintenance for long term ownership, that m5 you just mention is a piece of money shit pit, that thing requires excessive repairs.
