Mototrekkin Ridge Rider IV. Tamworth to Port Macquarie. Day Four.

Tough day today. 400km of a real mix of conditions, track types and weather. Two Riders down with some serious injuries after both bikes collided and a lot more minor ‘Offs’ in what were slippery conditions due to persistent drizzle. I even had a couple of ‘oh shit’ moments myself. Last day tomorrow…hopefully we’ll all get there in one piece.

@@mongreldogproductions And when you've done enough years and miles on a bike like that, it becomes an old friend. It's not perfect, but that's how my beginner bike (the gen1 Versys 650) has been for me. Up and down the US west coast and repeat trips east to Sturgis and all over the areas in between. A friend is helping me rebuild the saddle just now.

Fantastic stuff mate. When are you putting up the 3 hour version, with GPX files so we can live vicariously through you? 😁 Big thanks for the huge efforts you go to to make these for us. I recognise the Kindee Bridge at 3:01, having grown up in the area. Now I live in Sydney but for many years have been riding to Wauchope to visit my parents (now only mum, sadly) via the Thunderbolts Hwy and the Oxley. Having grown up on dirt bikes, I would also love to do it your way and would love to know what tracks/trails you took. BTW, did you get to the Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum in Tamworth?
