@@davedunn4285 Yeah, I’ve see a few but have never had any close encounters after I bush camp. Snakes feel the vibration from footsteps and the bike and don’t hang around. People are having "medical episodes" very often these days when driving.....for some "baffling" reason that would get me banned from youtube. Yeah its amazing how people just stand around when accidents happen right in front of them........common law "duty of care".......if by your actions or inaction others are harmed, then its negligence. Its also just plain simple decency "do unto others" and karma to help people in crisis situations.

Well done as 1st on scene. But i do have question as i was taught by Motocross rider before tar with 1st bike. Why dont you stand on the pegs when doing difficult sections like water crossings or rocky terrain. Fellow temporary Australian for over 40 years.
@mongreldogproductions15 күн бұрын
Yeah, nah. If only it was that simple. The bike and gear probably weighs 320kg. I'm about 84 kgs. The bike is a handful in snotty stuff and the 19 inch front wheel, along with the Paralever front suspension dont lend itself to behaving too well over the big rocks on that creek crossing. Hitting those rocks tend to throw the front end all over the place throwing you off line making control very difficult. Standing up would only make things more difficult and reduce reaction time if i had to 'dab' with a foot down. I understand the theory (this aint my first Rodeo) but in this case its easier to 'paddle' thru this obstacle. Thanks for watching.

What’s the go ? Do you bloody Aussies smash up fuel pumps ? sheds n cages wrapping them up, do the Roo’s kick n scratch ‘‘em up or something or Wombat’s try mating with the nozzle getting all frisky chewing on the tube. Shitty looking old pumps it’s not like their new ones. Sniffers, I heard you say they get a bit of a sniff on in the communities, can’t they afford booze or some real drugs, stuck in the outback with nothing to do but gaze at the heat haze would build a decent thirst but sniffing gasoline gets them through, who would think eh. If I get back over those ways I should do a pot n coke run to the wherever, like an anti sniffing missionary rescue, I could get a mention in the honours if I get enough off the sniff and brighten someone’s future with some quality heat haze recreation motivation. It all about perspective I reason and sniffing low attain poison can’t be good for the mind or body. Line up, roll up and give thanks for the blessings of responsible self medication and a sniff free future for all Gods Men Woman Black White x y and z creations, amen.

I'm a little curious about the way you crossed the Pentecost river. Firstly, why didn't you ride on the dry spit of land before moving into the water? Also, why weren't you standing on the pegs? That gives you much greater control when crossing such uneven terrain because you are able to shift your weight independently of the bike.
