@MotoX179, I race motocross and desert, you might not know what desert racing is but.. its like long races mostly 100-300 miles long, so im not unfit then i race motcross for the training and just cause i love it/ tried supercross 2 weeks ago and here i am typing with a broken arm. what do you think is better crf 250r or the kx250f?

@GRennerProductions most of the freestyle guys now ride 4 strokes anyways, pastrana is like one of the few tht still rides a 2 stroke

Ok I am getting a 250 and need some advice I either want a kawi 250 a crf250r or a yz250 any recommendations I will be doing some fmx a little racing and some goofing off when camping I hope to keep the bike for a while so any advice peoples

Wow, looks like a nice bike. I have a 2007 Honda Crf150r (mini wheel), i'm 14 and not that tall, im 5'3 and weigh 98 lbs.. lightweight ;) i was going to make my 150 a big wheel but it was going to cost around 2000 dlls, so id rather get a 250. Anyone have any suggestions, i was also thinking the 2011 crf250r but people say only bad things about it so this bike or the honda? what do you think?

I think you should let kids that ride AMA and smaller test out bikes. It would really show how easy and rider friendly this bike is. Almost all reviews of this bike say its very easy to ride so I think you should let teenagers that race 250f's (like myself) ride it.

@tobyeo I had absolutely no idea one was in the area. I have, however, heard someone occasionally testing out his 450F on the streets. The noise from that thing carries like nothing else!

@justinyoface911 U can change the powerband by changing the preset maps or settings using Kawasaki's programing tool on a computer, the 7 maps would be different low-mid-top end power ratios, all is changed through Kawasaki's electronic fuel injection. Hope that helps :P

@kurk23 i thouhgt most freestyle motocross rider rode 250 2 strokes. I thought jumping 4 stroke dirt bikes off those huge freestyle ramps was hard because of the extra weight you have with 4 strokes

@XxpaintballxXx honda is like a 2 stroke it burns your oil like a mother and is a high rever like a 2 stroke so out of a corner to get good speed ou need to already be reivin and usually needs a little tweeking to fit your style, but if thats your style than choose the honda the kawa has very good bottom end so out of the corner fast and less tweekin to gt it where mos riders prefer

jt86tn I race the bike and the first thing I did was change out the sprocket and chain because the stock sprocket gets worn really quickly but other than that the bike is great I think u should get it
