My 2012 GSX1250FA is my second bike after a 2011 250cc Kawasaki (I'm a fairly new rider), so naturally i think its plenty fast. I've had it around 6 months and ridden it 4000 miles (to and from work) and its very comfortable. it does come with hardbags (i bought them). Their pretty tough, problem is the plastic strap buckle broke easily when i tried to undo it. So bike is a little cheap in the construction. Inline 4 engine is the best part about the bike.

Its been about a year since I had my 1250F ... and the thing about this bike is 'comfort'; its riding position is so ... natural... balanced. The muffler that comes with it is a bit too quiet to my taste (quite bulky though) and this year i'm planning on replacing it w/ SP Tadao's new PowerBox :-)

Did you tell about the top torq at low rpm? This thing had a max pull power already from 3500rpm This rides as smooth as it gets when it comes to low rpm and max comfort.

Yes I had my wife ride on the back of my GSX1250FA. She's kinda little weighs 110lb so she thought it was very comfortable even though there wasn't any back support. We're both kinda small - medium height so there is a lot of room on the bike for both of us. There was a gap between me and her. For longer rides I would get the top box so she can lean back. The passenger seat is quite flat and not like the angled seats you get on Kawasakism which are uncomfortable for both riders.

I had a 2009 1250s Suzuki bandit, I now own a 2011 GSX1250FA Suzuki the 1250s was more comfortable as the seat was softer and more grippy, but the 1250FA seems more Responsive and feel faster even though its lower on bhp than the 1250s. The 1250FA seems to handle better as well.

Purchased new in 2014, what about a great bike, a scary couple. Previously I had 3 GSX-R 1100 models from the end of the 80s. With the GSX 1250 FA I make the Dolomite passes its ideal terrain and sometimes I get great satisfaction with more famous bikes

@CBR11X Sounds good. Whenever I get tired of my Warrior I may go back to the Semi sport area.

My first bike was an '05 ninja 250. I've been wanting to get another bike since I sold the 250 before going to college, but my wife isn't a fan of sport bikes and thinks I should get a cruiser. I feel like this would be a great compromise. Have you had anyone ride on the back? How did that go?

I think Suzuki gives us a solid affordable bare-bone ST base bike for modifications in your own way. Still, I think the price is a little high for what you get, $9k sounds more reasonable to me.

So a compromise between sport and touring? I may get one though for food deliveries and daily driver to work. But that 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS is also tempting. I have a Prius PHV that is pretty much a compromise between a gokart and comfortable daily driving. I am so torn between the two-2011 Suzuki GSX1250FA and 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS. Classic vs Modern. It's like choosing between that dorky geek woman and a modern woman who like to go night clubbing. Help me choose.

Suzuki. Ninja 400 won’t cruise as well as this long term I think you’d simply be underwhelmed by the Ninja 400 depending how far you ride at a time.

Suzuki needs to rework the SV1000 instead of dicking around with the bandit platform. My 04 SV makes the same torque and more hp than this 2011 model? and the sv is only a 996cc twin?..what the hell.

Totally different powerband. This 1250 fires up full nm at 3500-3700 rpm Youl never need to rev high. Just shift gears. This is a fast smooth bike. Can do a 3,5 to 100km/h 10,5 sec to 200km/h So it keeps up very well.

it cannot be 94 horsepower!!!! NO WAY. Has to be way more.

With a few simple mods , full Ixil exhaust , K&N filter , quality spark plugs and high octane gas, my 2008 GSF1250S , cranks out 118 HP and 108 foot pounds of torque. The top speed is also way underrated. As it will touch the 300 kilometer an hour mark.

Its a low ref power houser. 3500-3700rpm it got its full torq. It blast threu the gears without screaming.

Suzuki GSX1250FA Price= $11,6k Power= 94hp ~85ftlbs (im sure) Weight= 572lbs (!!!!) Buell XB12s Price= ~$3,5k (Ebay) Power= 90hp 79ftlbs Weight= 435lbs comfy seats already- throw a bag on it and touring is easy PLUS chassis of this buell (firebolt) rivals a GSXR 1000..... Yeah Suzuki... if a American Company who no longer exists at the moment made a line of bikes that already squashed your new line.........

You don’t know what your talking bout. Its not to be compared with those kinda bikes. Its rides more like a dragster. Low rev high torq.
@Ryknfjor2 жыл бұрын
@@Jandejongjong what? I said Buell. Not Harley. It doesnt ride like a "dragster". Ive owned both. The power delivery and sound is different, thats it.
