I have used Engine Ice on my adv 390. Switched it out after my first service. It is much better and worked well for me brilliantly.

One adv is enough and lighter bikes are better offroad. If I were to get a bigger bike, it would only be for the weekend rides or track. That being said... The tigers are absolute beasts to ride. Enjoyed my time on it.

My primary GoPro is also a GoPro Hero 7 black. Looks like you are not using the Pro Tune mode with the GoPro colours which would make the scene look more vibrant!

Any plans on stepping up the stock visor?.... as you are quite tall and must be experiencing the wind blast at high speeds.

Nope, I'm very happy with the stock visor. A good helmet will prevent any issues with wind noise/blast. Most people who wear adventure helmets with a beak and goggles have issues with the visor. For touring, a full face helmet with a closed visor worked perfect for me.

Nice video. One of your statements hit me very hard. Buying the age-appropriate bike. (Referring to your new KTM adventure bike video) Should I buy the KTM 200 or not? I was planning on a Duke 200. I am 32 and the reason is I wanted some serious horsepower under me. My entire life, I have ridden 100cc bikes and missed out on the acceleration these bikes offer.

The 200 is a perfect balance between power and mileage from any of the ktms. It's not too uncomfortable either. Should serve you well. Do it!

What’s the best hydrapack? There’s a few options out there but I’d like my water to stay ice cold for as long as I’m on the saddle, got any suggestions on that half?

Ogio Baja/Ogio Dakar (both have insulated pockets for the bladder). They're on the expensive side tho.. 8k and 10k respectively. Other option is the Rynox bag which is 3k but doesn't come with a bladder.

Within a decent peice, Rynox has the best one. It comes with an insulated pocket. However it costs 3k without the bladder and cos they use heavy duty cordura fabric, the bag weighs quite a bit even without any water. But if keeping the fluid temperature is paramount, rynox is the best bang for your buck at the moment.

The trk is a good bike. Rode it with a friend to Nagpur a few years ago. Very capable and comfortable. Unfortunately the competition in that segment is very stiff and there are more competitively priced options. Comes down to personal preference... If you were to switch, what are you considering?

Have only tried the stock oil so far. Will be switching to motorex next if all goes as planned. Coolant you can't go wrong with either engine Ice or motocool expert from motul. Fortunately the adv isn't plagued with overheating issues.

Aftermarket batteries - Telesin. They were available on amazon. Original batteries are available at Fort, Mumbai. There's multiple gopro dealers who sell them there.

Digitek is also a good alternative brand for GoPro batteries. I personally own one for my Hero 8. Battery costs around 800-1200rs.

@@radven I did try digitek but the battery went bad in about 3-4 months, hence looking for alternative. Maybe the digitek battery I purchased could have been faulty. Thanks for the suggestion though!

If you know someone innthe US and visits india, get batteries from this brand called "Wasabi". The best 3rd party batteriesni have used. I have batteries for my Hero 7, 10 and even my Nikon cameras.

Only as a second bike to ride on weekends. Using it daily in Mumbai doesn't make sense so you're better off having one bike that does it all. The ADV does that for me.
