As you rightly said, this will be very big initiative for the corporate employees. But If I am not wrong minimum 1500 kms per month subscription they are expecting I believe... But still instead of paying the battery price up-front, I think we can easily spend the money every year close to 50k which we will anyway spend for the ICE cars... If we are doing 16k kms every year... Plus if it had a real time range of 350 kms... It would have been a great advantage for doing long rides as well provided the fuel cost....

@@senthilkumaran0072 they are saying you don't need to think about resale value because the battery is never yours but again for 1500 kms and under for a month and for 8 years you end up paying around 6 lakhs , so it's initial 10 plus 6 that is 16 lakhs So for whom is this worth ? It's worth for people who have a fixed runs every month , and not for highway users or unplanned users But for low users less than 1000 or even 500 kms a month users it's damm costly I bought a elevate for 14.35 lakhs my running is every Sunday around 100 kms that days, so literally am doing close to 500 kms , why should it pay 5000 bucks every month . Next it's still a small battery car and at highways it's never gonna give you that mileage , issue is even at 90 -100 which is highway legal speed these batteries are still thirsty So all in all except the cities , the battery tech has to change and not the price

But I just wish if there was enough battery and that to at highway legal speeds if it has a range of 350 plus the first year external charging being free... It would have been a real cheap means of transportation...

@@vethanishanth so to add to that or as a example , Kia ev6 has arai mileage of 600, But in highways at 100 - 120 it gives you close 300 that means , when a 600 capacity gives you 300 at 100kmph means A car rated at 500 or even lower will give you even lower mileage maybe give or take 200 -250 , so in this case I realy need a fast charger like in ev6 where you can 0-85 in just 40mins But how much does a ev6 cost 60lakhs Today most budget EVs don't do high mileage, So for me personally the EV tech has to change , or atleast give me super fast charging and say the battery still don't degrade easily So right now we really need tech like solid state batteries etc and in the current form it's waste Only ok for point A to B

In India Traffic deaths are increasing and am very much disturbed the way traffic awareness is too pathetic in India. even in my family, we have lost one of our well educated person Road accident. when i tried to ask about road signs on highway, among my friends, though they are very experienced drivers. they failed to answer most of the road signs. neenga if you ask a quiz on any road sign and see how many of moto wagons identify the right signs... I wish such a famous personality should pls start something like that campaign too. which can save lives too. I would personally join your bandwagon.

If you use the EV for more than 1,500km a month, you pay more, with charges starting from Rs. 3.5 for every kilometre extra. Notably, if your usage is for less than 1,500km, you will still have to pay Rs. 5,250 per month. Some finance providers will have no minimum cap on the kilometres, allowing customers to pay the battery rent only if they use the EV. at the end of the day EV makes sense for a highway plus city user the battery tech has to change hold more charge or support frequent fast charging.

Advancements in technology and market is always welcome, but EVs still are not everyone's cup of tea. Simply put, even most reviewers don't buy them. Even Tesla, new model 3, has track mode, advertised track mode, but reviewers are not allowed to use track mode. 5 minutes in, the brakes overheated. Not to mention, single person is still going to need to pull a ton of weight as battery, which will obviously put wear and tear on brake pads.

This is information i got from MG customer care, each month ill be billed 1500 km minimum even if dont drive, so 5250 re per month, makes upto 63k per year, This fee attracts GST, so 74000 per year jst for battery rent , Exit plans are not yet decided by MG, So minimum mostly they will require us to pay for 8 years, for a 5 years usage, youll have to pay 4 lakhs just for battery rent, charging cost is extra, All in all the onwership cost exceeds the upfront of buying a punch or nexon, Although one pro is , its a spacious car, and i have given estimate of base model only without any connected features. upfront cost will be announced by MG within this week, mostly base varaint would start at 14-15 lakhs like nexon. Might be worth who are looking for luxurious and spacious car by compromising slightly in range compared to Nexon

I have doubt on Windsor... Let's say per unit price for charging the EV is 1.5 Rs. So total cost per km is 3.5 + 1.5 = 5 rs per km. Comparing this to CNG , 90 rs per kg in Chennai and assuming it gives 24 km per kg in City driving. It comes around 3.75 Rs per km. It seems less than the current offering by Windsor. Since it's MG, luxury and comfort would be top notch. I see CNG > EV here!

whatever you say royalty will still go to SAIC of china who owns MG, SAIC or MG illama JSW illa, So globally the europeans and the USA have started to limit Chinese EVS, the reason leasing is high in developed countries is because they dont keep their cars longterm and they have a proper car disposal. Still Motors are mileage sensitive at high speeds , that has to get solved , for highways i need a bigh battery or a fast charger that does not affect battery life.

Whenever the CEO or top management rejects to hear to the general public feedback, the brand goes unnoticed. Ex Nokia, Microsoft mobile Steve Balmer, Kodak. I have tiago ev xt lr 30k km done in once we had hv alert and changed battery in 10k km time after that 1 month in service station we got back though after that we are not peace in mind with battery and buying ev with low spec varient make no additionally spare part can be added official store for xt lr even fog light not added as accessories in 1.5 years we have done 30 k kms While we having ice diesel or petrol cars we don't use this much😂 now going to near 5 kms we using ev car so convenient is there single pedal driving all is good still what we will do after 8 years confused about it If tata bring a service battery with subcription at that time after 8 years it would be best for already ev owned people so even after that we can enjoy our ev in peace of mind right

Other small issues; nothing is more important than safety. I am 5'8". I have booked a Tata Curvv and don't have any issues with the backside seat. Every brand or car has some issues. I am not supporting Tata; I am supporting Indian brands. I regularly watch your videos; they are interesting and good. Three years ago, I bought a Nexon, which my brother is using now. So far, everything has been good. The service has also improved a lot.
