I too booked it. but, shocking info from MG site's booking status is... Special Introductory price of MG Windsor EV applicable for the first 10,000 bookings and deliveries on or before 31st December 2024 Post 31st December 2024, the ex-showroom price will be applicable as at the time of delivery.

One Main drawback I noticed is the sunlight travel falling on the front seat people. As the windshield is curved and bonnet is short too much sunlight is falling as i see almost till hip level. In long travel that may cause too much heat to driver .

Hi Moto Wagon 👋 In my opinion Head light placed in the wrong place. Bumpers should protect the Head light Set , cameras etc .Minor hits will break costly head light Sets. AC control knobs and Audio system knobs are luxurious for car dashboards. All controls need not be included in the touch screen. Important switches should be installed on the right side of the Driver .

Hello sir, I have zero knowledge of vehicles and the reason why I regularly watch your content is because your videos are understandable for me. By 2026 I am planning to get a vehicle and I am looking into vehicles that is perfect for me. Windsor ev seems to be most comfortable choice for me. But around the end of the video you said not to consider ev for long ride, I am at chennai and my native is palakkad around 570km. @@muralidharansriram3552 Since we don’t have many EV Charging station, I would suggest you to wait for Mahindra to launch a new vehicle. They are planning to launch an EV with at least 500 KM range. Hope it comes sooner.

From a service ability perspective, every time they're removing the frame for inner issues, will it not be very expensive? How much is the service charge in general? Also, who places headlamps on an infotainment screen! I don't think it's flexible from a driver perspective. The pros are appreciated but the cons have to be highlighted strongly, this video seems very muted with opinions about cons. I Love the car, but i worry more about how the car owner will feel when there's a problem with the car or during an incident and the car has to be fixed.

Good video. Jus a feedback is that your usage of horn is inappropriate, especially in the highway drive. I believe horn should be used when other vehicle is doing something wrong not for letting know the people that I'm behind you and not to use as indication while overtaking. That's truely bad cuz that's a bad example setting.

Lovely car, lovelier review but somehow I'm unable to comprehend with the 2 misses. 1st is it should be a 7 seater, secondly it should have been a RWD. The former, MG might address after establishing the brand as a premium product. The latter might however take some serious conviction by the manufacturer but would really set the Windsor apart. I mean, think about it. It is unthinkable to launch a budget RWD ICE MPV in this era. The EV Windsor could however easily be a RWD MPV without any additional costs or maybe a fractional extra and take on the likes of even Innova hybrid hycross with It's RWD USP.

They mentioned that the delivery is expected by the end of December or the first week of January. The total cost will be around ₹16.5 lakhs (on-road, without BaaS, at Salem, Essence top variant). Is there a shortcut to activate the 360-degree camera from the steering wheel? Also, how do I set the speed for cruise control?

Feasibility is very low. You can't continuously fast charge, it's not good for the battery and it's expensive at 20 rupees per unit at most places. You need somewhere to slow charge which is good for the battery and cost wise is much lower

90/100: Good product, albeit with TWO FLAWS: Good looks, spacious & taller. It ticks 90% of all expectations of Indians. Two problems: 1st problem is the smaller battery pack which can generate only a 230 km run. A larger battery pack (high range) is ESSENTIALLY required to CATER to long journey commuters. MG must RETHINK soon. Absence of provision of a long range battery will not be good for a family MPV. 2nd is No provision of spare wheel. When Tata Sierra 2025 & KIA Siros get launched, it will be retirement time for MG Windsor unless and otherwise they come up with a long-range battery. Let's see. The sooner MG provides a larger battery pack....the good for MG. Otherwise, it would be approaching the "retirement" stage i.e- Competition will eat up.

It's not about charging points alone Generally EVs are thirsty cars in the sense , even at 90-100 it will sap power , means you need a rapid fast charger to do charge in 30-45 mins which budget cars don't have Generally if the rated is 700 then at highway legal speed of 90-100 a ev 6 will give you around 300-350 only

Every time I go behind any car i will not use the horn just flash if they know what i meant then they give way for me. And the outside orvm control also in that touch panel, what the hell. But these issues are not a pain in the ass for guys who have been driving toys in their day today life😂

@@Arunashok6060 First the headlight could be flashed using the right stalk which is provided for indicators The orvm also have a memory function that once you set , it gets get memorised and adjust automatically to your gear

But the orvm needs a physical control bro, because whenever you reverse on a narrow road to turn the vehicle or reverse for a particular distance the physical button or joystick is more convenient to operate. When i had been driving my wagonr lxi model in 2017 the manually adjusting orvm is the pain that i had felt. And also you should consider that if your touch panel got damaged you cannot drive the car safely and you will not be able to on your headlights, orvm control and you cannot access each and every function that is incorporated into the screen. If you know that kia's touch screen costs around 40k so consider this 15 inch tv cost.
