​@@wedgeville575 Yeah, it was only years later when I found the mono album that I found out the 45 featured those strings. I gotta say, the stereo mix now sounds very bare!

The US 45 is the first version with strings. The original UK version was the stereo version released in mono.

@@theboyfromxtown I didn't know that about the differences between the US and UK singles. Surprising because the lack of strings seems to make the record sound a little bare bones.

@@Tomovox_PAMS_Radio_JIngles agreed. It was released on a 45 in 1971 as the flip side to Save The Children. This time the stereo version was used.
