Yeah, so good, The Doobie Brothers remembered it and did a very good cover of it in the seventies. They seemed to have a thing for Motown songs!

@@wedgeville575 Yeah, it was only years later when I found the mono album that I found out the 45 featured those strings. I gotta say, the stereo mix now sounds very bare!

The US 45 is the first version with strings. The original UK version was the stereo version released in mono.

@@theboyfromxtown I didn't know that about the differences between the US and UK singles. Surprising because the lack of strings seems to make the record sound a little bare bones.
