i bought this on 12th oct, i must say awsm mileage, pickup and performance from the very first day, giving me mileage of approx 66 on highway and 55 in city

bro i am also getting some 30kmpl....170kms driven stil i brought it may 9 2017 ..its irritating u knw...bec after long research i brought jupiter mill disc variant..but it give cheap mileage nw..and in idle i am felling full body vibrates.. why and...when can i get 55kmpl..... correctly hw many kms i can get that much of mileage/????????????genuines of jupiter owner reply it..own knws about jupiter very well plz replyyyy ..and so some interset to my comments

mahesh kanna In that case contact the service center and tell them all you experienced, seems like engine problems. Try changing the petrol, don't use speed or xtrapremium, these petrol creates problem in the engine and decreases the engine performance as Jupiter has low compression ratio.

Does TVS Jupiter MillionR disc brake model have Sync Braking System (SBS) same as on new TVS Jupiter ZX varients? Sync Braking System (SBS Technology) is same as of honda Activa's Combi Braking System (CBS). New TVS Jupiter ZX 2017 models have SBS. But does MillionR Disc Brake edition also have SBS like in Tvs Jupiter zx and honda Activa 125cc disc brake model?

Which is best scooter Jupiter or Activa 3g/4g. Engine reliablity Honda good but what about Jupiter engine, I m confues, is it Jupiter engine reliable. is there any problem in Jupiter's engine. Some local machanic says Jupiter's​ engine has some problem, but Over all I like Jupiter. Specially tyres and suspension of Jupiter is too good compare to Activa. What would u suggest for Jupiter engine

Some said that front panel of TVS Jupiter made of fiber and some said that new batch models 2016/2017 have metal front panel. What is the reality?

I want to buy TVS Jupiter white/matt gray color with Sync Braking System (SBS technology same as honda's combi brakes) but this feature is only available in new zx varients. Is it possible to install SBS feature in Jupiter's standard variants by requesting to the service center/showroom dealer by giving extra money?? Will it works fine???

Hi. I have few questions. I have buy a new TVS Jupiter BS4 and have runned 650 Kms. Q1. Which transmission/gear oil brand with specification should I used for my TVS Jupiter? Q2. Is it safe to use TVS Jupiter's engine oil into Transmission as a Transmission/Gear oil ? Both TVS Jupiter Manual and service centre guys recommended to use only the TVS TRU4 Premium Semi-Synthetic engine oil (SAE-10W30 API-SL, JASO-MA2) into the transmission as a gear oil. But according to outside mechanic and also online forums it is recommended to use SAE-90 Gear oil for Transmission of gearless scooters. What should I do? Q3. I feel some metal friction sound coming from gears of rear tyres at speed of 40 to 60kmph mostly with pillion or sometimes without pillion. Jupiter run 650 kms and also 1st service is done few days ago. They used the engine oil into the transmission as a gear oil. They said that this problem will gone after 5000kms. But I don't think so. Why I got this problem and what is the solution?

The Aprilia SR150 is aimed at being a fast scooter thus it has a stiffer suspension than the Jupiter. While both of the scooters offer good absorption, the Jupiter does score slightly more.

Recently I have booked tvs Jupiter's basic version. Between all 3 variants of Jupiter there is a differences of 2k-3k here in Thane. I will be using it as my daily commute bike for office mainly where I will drive it for almost 26 km in round trip, 5 days a week. Do I really need to go for disc version or drum brakes (not combo brakes) will do the job perfectly. Traffic conditions would be volatile. Please share your response asap.

Thank you for writing in Sir. As you mentioned that you will mostly be using the vehicle for going to office and everyday commuting, the disc version is not necessary. The basic version should do however the Sync Brake feature does add more safety and assurance. Nonetheless, we congratulate you on booking your new Jupiter.

On a personal front, I really like the Jupiter but it has a few glitches when you ride it for long. Maybe you did not come across such because of your time constraints. Aakash you are a lot presentable than many of the auto journos in India but you seem very thin...reminds me of the Julius Caesar play.."Yonder Cassius has a lean and hungry look..." put on some weight kid!! Pardon me if I am rude! Wish you a good future...

For most of the most part the Sync Brakes would do. But since you get the disc brake and looks of the MillionR edition by adding just a few thousand rupees, the MillionR edition is luring for sure.
