FURTHER TIPS: It's worth trying the Dualventure front with the Rallz rear. If you use tubes, there's increased tread depth, the tubeless version has shallower tread but might be better for heavier bikes. ROAD NOISE? Around 6000km now, I am noticing more road noise from the rear Rallz as it wears. With ear plugs, it's not very noticeble. Without ear plugs? Yeah it's getting loud! Not as loud as full knobbies like a D606... UNEVEN FRONT WEAR? e.g. 'cupping' on the front Rallz. This can happen particularly on heavier bikes e.g. 700cc and larger. As per the vid, no sign of this on my DR650 with the Rallz front, but if you do spot this you can reverse the tyre to prevent it. Several viewers have said the Rallz front wears unevenly on bigger bikes, the Dualventure is better in this respect. COMPATABILITY WITH TUBLISS? I did a lot of googling around before getting these Motoz. I noticed one or two guys saying they used TUbliss and had trouble getting a good seal. My experience? The rear has been perfect. However I did have slow leaks with the front (e.g. it would be okay for a ride but would go down overnight). I repeatedly unseated it off the beads, smeared it with Slime (sealant) and put heaps of Slime inside too. Eventually it sealed correctly. But every now and then a bit of green Slime oozes out and the pressure has dropped again... but then the Slime works and it seals again. Conclusion? Given others have complained it might be the best tyre to use with TUbliss... OUR TYRE REVIEW STRATEGY Ever researched a specific tyre and find some riders love it, others hate it? Some say it lasts forever, others say it barely lasted three rides? Our strategy is to spend hours collecting as many owner reports (and any objective reviews) as possible. We combine this with our own experience with the tyre, then publish a review that hopefully will show what most riders think. We also invite viewers to comments on these videos. I had a Rallz set on my 97 KLR650. Severe cupping on the front reduced the lifespan but I still got 7000 miles out of the front and 11,020 on the rear. This was under likely 95% road conditions.

have you tried Mitas C02 ? Ive been riding them on my XT660r, they grip like king offroad. but you have to be careful on Pavement. now bought DV and Rallz for upcoming season.

Got these on a drz400e and love 'em. Yeah the front washes out a bit on super slippery WA pea gravel but everything does tbh. Great tyres and an Aussie brand👍

I follow the SKIDSnSTUFF methodology of the Rallz on the rear and the desert H/T up front and I've been pretty happy with it. I'm by no means a tire expert though.

I have that combo too on my DR650 (Rallz rear & desert H/T front). SUPER noisy on the road and a little sketchy on wet blacktop but I need all the help I can get off road and they did not disappoint!! I just did a 4,000 miles road trip in the USA/Canada (with good chunks of MABDR+NEBDR) and never dropped the bike once (I’m a newbie). That was probably a 30/70 (off/on) trip and I would say I still have another 1 or 2k miles left. Front is cupped badly but still hooks up pretty well. Will buy that combo again!! 👍 cheers !

Desert H/T up front and Adventure rear on my DR650. The Desert H/T is my favorite front tire so far. I've taken it through all sorts of hard terrain here in AZ. The H/T just sticks like velcro. The Adventure is working out great so far even in single track. Can't wait to test the RallZ when my 18 inch rim shows up. I'm going to install bibs and test the DR650 in some gnarly AZ jungle/canyon terrain shortly. Love your vids!

I tested so much dualsport tires. The best ratio mileage / grip on mud, sand, rock, snow, road / price is the motoz tractionnator desert. You can do serious offroad with them.

I'm running the Rallz rear and DV front, both tube type, on my DR650. Around e 2500 miles and going. No complaints at all with this setup. My riding is heavily off-road biased, but it sees a decent amount of pavement as well. Handles paved twisties at moderate speeds (no more than about 65mph) no problem. And works great in all the off road terrain I've found.

i love the motoz rallz tyre. For me rallz in the rear and motoz desert in the front wheel is the perfect combination for dual sport if you want a good grip/longevity ratio. Now im trying desert in rear and motoz enduro it in front wheel on my ktm 640 enduro and im happy too.

I have the Rallz on two of my bikes, an XR650L and a Yamaha TTR250. I love these tires. I did the eastern part of the Trans America Trail on the Yamaha and it did great on the road. I had a bit of an issue when the conditions were really muddy, but they are a fantastic dual sport tire.

The Motoz lineup has some great offerings. I wonder how the Enduro IT compares to the usual D606 Goldentyre, and Mt21 offerings.

The good old MT21 front, always a good choice for the DR650. Might be worth looking at the Tusk as well if you are in the USA. it seems to be identical to the MT21 but cheaper.... mostly good reviews from what I've seen.

Recently sold Motoz Rallz tires that were on my KTM 790 R. Had two crashes that broke my confidence in the tires. Both I believe have to do with the knobby patterns on the front and rear. The first crash occurred at approximately 30 mph on a hard pack dirt road with light loose dirt on top. The rear tire knobs locked onto a small ridge, probably no more than an inch high, on an otherwise smooth dirt road. The rear stayed locked on the small ridge bringing it around so radically that me and the KTM went down on the road rather easily until we ended up on the ground facing the opposite direction of travel. The second crash occurred five months later involving the front tire. Traveling at approximately 20 mph I decided to switch from one track to the opposite track on a two track dirt road. Once again this road was hard pack with slight ridges running parallel to the direction of the road. The front knobs locked onto a ridge causing the front end to wash out instantly. I suffered a big bruise to my left shin in this crash. Suspicious of the cause I took a photo of the crash which clearly shows uniform knob patterns along the small ridge all the way to the bike lying on its side. Another issue with the front Rallz is its tendency to wander around on grooves in pavement, although this seemed to abate as the tire wore. Other than very satisfactory performance in deep sand the tires were no better than Metzler Karoos that came on the bike or the replacement Continental TKC-80s. Didn't get to find out about the Rallz durabilitly because they had 1170 miles on them when sold.

Love the Rallz rear & dual venture front combo, but tubeless options for the adv bikes come at premium prices here in Canada. To the point they need to last that long to be worth the insanely inflated cost.

I've fitted the Motoz RallZ to my Husky 701 rear. So far I have the same outcome as you. I did get a nail through it almost on the first ride, but that could happen to any tyre. I'll be using them again. As a side note, my local dealer will not stock Motoz tyres, not sure why.

Big fan of the RallZ for my CRF250L. My last set took me from Vancouver Island Canada to Nevada and back. 40% road 60% gravel. It also kept me going for the rest of the riding here on Vancouver Island doing about 50/50 road to dirt. The final KM count before swapping them out….just under 16,000kms. Unfortunately the RallZ wasn’t available at time of swap so I’m presently back on the Enduro IT. I used to love these tires but I miss the RallZ. Will be going back to them once the Enduro is done.

Another great review Barry. I've had several sets of Rallz on my 690R. Like others here, the rear works well 70% offroad in Northeast Victoria High Country but the front is a different story. I thought it was my lack of experience that the bike would seem to understeer or wash out. Then I recently got a Beta 390 RR and fitted it with a Pirelli Scorpion Rally front and a Dunlop D606 rear. The Pirelli was a revelation sticking like "shit to a blanket". The D606 too does a good job. Only 2,000km on the bike but so far so good. This is further reinforced by my 890R which is fitted with Rallz front and rear. The front after 6,000km is getting quite vague and howls louder than my 690R front. I guess you pay for the longevity in one way or another. Your review must have affected the market as I can't get a new Rallz 150/70-18 for my 890R for love or money!

The sketchy front is such a common comment I reckon I'd advise riders get the Dualventure or Desert front. I haven't tried those but heaps of viewers are saying these work great with the Rallz rear.

Good summary, Barry; I agree with it 100%. I tried the Rallz front and rear on my 950 Super Enduro last season, after years and years with the the Desert H/T rear and Enduro S/T front, which are perfect, noisy, expensive and last 4,000 km at best. I ride Ontario trails every weekend in season, around 8mo/year, and do 2-6 weekend trips annually to Pennsylvania to camp and ride its forest roads. Some of Ontario's trails, like the Ganny when very dry like last summer was, deliver plenty of deep, heavy, coarse sand interspersed with random sharp adulthead boulders, often well-disguised (I've popped a front tube on one at 70km/h and gone down hard, all in under a second). In such trails I found the rear Rallz, at 32psi to be 95% as good as the Desert H/T, and with twice the mileage. The front Rallz (which I also keep at 32psi so I won't pop the tube again [which I've become paranoid about, as that crash did semi-painful permanent damage to my right ankle]), is about 80% as good as the Enduro S/T. It has delivered me a few traction-losing surprises, which make me open to replacing it. I'd stay with the Enduro S/T, but its tall lugs do chew through my rad guard when I bottom out the fork. This has also stretched the rad attachment grommet up front, and these rads are now Unobtainium. I will try the Dual Venture this season. Many thanks, sir. And salutations to young Dallas.

Interestingly I find the d606 was quieter after a bit of wear in whereas the rallz was loud from the start and continues to be after around 2500km . This is on a DR650 They are a lot easier to mount an demount onto the rim then the d606

I run the RallZ front and Adventure rear on my CRF1000L, both TL type. Had the dealer fit them as it was 45 degrees in my garage last summer when it was time to spoon rubber. The tech put 32psi front and 36psi rear. I went for a couple of rides and the front felt really twitchy and I didn't like it. Dropped front and rear to 28.5psi and run that all the time and really like the tyres now. I like them that much I bought another set for when these ones wear out but so far with about 5000ks on them, they are only half worn. I don't ride hard though. Not much skidding or power sliding. Only place the tyres suck are wet red clay that all tyres are no good in, and on big round river rocks the AT wants to go sideways after a stop. I think bike weight and skill cap is probably half the issue.

installed the Rallz front and rear on my '22 Tiger 900 Rally Pro to replace the OEM set after about 2000 miles/3200km. I put about 6500 miles/10500km.The performance was everything you said, though in the bigger sizes I think the tread patterns are different. Mine howled horribly at different speeds, quieting down at other speeds. They quieted when leaned over, but I couldn't always be going around corners. When I removed them, the front was noticeably cupped, with every other center knob worn down. The rear was squaring off, but was only about 1/2 worn. Replaced them with Dunlop Trailmax Missions, and think I made a good choice (with about 1500 miles/2300km ridden). I'm not an aggressive rider, and the Missions are working well for me both on- and off-pavement. They feel very solid on the pavement, and it's a treat to be able to hear again.

The DRZ400E is only around 20kg heavier than the 501 so should be similar. I was running 18F and 20R PSI for dual sport riding which worked well.

I'd love to see a motoz s/t 90/100 21 combined with a mitas Enduro trail xt+. I've put just over 200 miles on with the s/t front with my 890 & it's fantastic in traction street or dirt. I'm putting on their i/t 130/90 18 tomorrow, I've gotten mixed reviews about the i/t but had to give it a shot (mostly longevity). The s/t will be put on autoship for my front wheel. The mitas Enduro trail xt+ will be my next rear I'll try.

Currently using the Dualventure in front and Rallz in rear on our DR650, and the exact same setup on our air cooled 1200GSA. It's crazy that the same combo works so well on both bikes; carried a pillion and 80lb of gear on the GSA for a 4 day trip, did everything from mud to 85mph highway stretches easily. My only complaint is that the Dualventure has a very high-pitched "howl" noise, worse than others in the category. That said, it's so much more predictable on gravel and longer lasting, that I think it's worth it.

that's the spirit...i wouldn't and don't bother with DOT tyres on any (mostly) dirt bike but strictly -off-road tyres do have disadvantages on road, especially wear and traction.

Im gettin a bit of cupping on the front RallZ on the 690 after 3500 but nothing to bunch my panties. I ride almost as hard on dry tarmac with these tyres as I would with road tyres and they have never let go. Very impressive. Wet tarmac....meh....any agressive block tread / knobby that lasts is going to be sketchy. Will try the dual venture when the front RallZ is toast and see what all the fuss is about, though perfectly happy with the RallZ. Never had it wash out on my when it wasnt my fault. Going to try the Motoz Tractionator GPS on the 890 (my tourer) and see how they run. The RallZ tubeless were great but rear only lasted 4500.

Have to agree with the front grip assessment, although I have only used the tubeless version on a 1090, it also used to cup badly, but most tyres did that. Got about 4000k out of the tubeless rear on the 1090, got 6000k out of the desert ht. I will try the tubed ral z rear on my GG700, I like the 606 rear but I’m only going to get about 2500k out of it. I use the Mitas E07+. I find they are good off road and provide reasonable grip on road, even in the rain. I've done 2500km on them, and they are wearing quite well on a Pan Am, with most of my riding being on sealed roads.

Rallz is way better offroad. I had an EO7+ on my GS and loved it for sealed and dirt roads but offroad or wet dirt roads it wasnt great.

Rallz front and rear on my T7 - basically on road like it’s off road. Head shake on accel is it’s Achilles heel - otherwise, has been tackling Colorado mtn passes just fine.

I didn't get on with the front Rallz, the rear was great, but my normal dual sport tyre is the Mitas MC23 Rockrider, these work well enough everywhere and last almost as long as the Rallz, I always found the front better than the front Rallz too. Used them on a Husqvarna 701 and CRF300L.

I always found that the d606 was a good tyre considering you can get decent life on the road running higher pressures seems to help. And it might sound silly but when I was young and couldn't afford to buy tyres all the time I would actually squirt water on my tires from a bottle and it actually seemed to make them last longer.

@@crosstrainingadventure yes I would get a Powerade bottle and put a fitting in the lid and zip tie it to the handlebars with a fuel line running to the back tyre when doing Road miles I would occasionally give it a squeeze. I'm not sure how practical it is as you run out of water fairly quickly but I would like to try it using tyre pressure monitors that record temperature

Experiment with air pressure. Depending on your bike weight you should find a sweet spot that will have them quieter than the D606. Riders seem very divided over the front Rallz. Sure, some riders do like it but enough disagree that I'd be advising others to combine the excellent rear Rallz with the Rallz Dualventure or Desert.

I ran the Rallz tubed and DualVenture tubed front on my 22 KLR. The rear is a great tire off-road and fine on road. It is loud. I had pretty significant speed wobble from the front above 65 mph. Where I live even small two lane roads have a 75 mph speed limit so it was a problem. I used the DualVenture for 2000 miles then switched it to a Shinko 804 front. It’s much better on the highway but not near as good off road. Maybe the tubeless DualVenture would have been better. Good tires but a bit overhyped on the KZbins. I have about 4000 on the rear and it’s about done for off road.

@@crosstrainingadventure What can I say about the PR7. It is my wife's bike, she bought it after a test ride one year ago and has since then put a lot of miles on it. Great suspension, amazing brakes, great comfort and a true beast. I myself have a hard time handling it, too much of a bike for me. But my wife rode it through all 6 stages of the Dinaric Rally in Croatia and the bike was like a fish in water. We have had no problem with the bike so far, and we have been putting it through a beating. What I have read about the Kove, I believe the PR7 is a similar bike, but with a better engine with some more punch.

I used one on my DR650 which has an aftermarket 18 inch rear wheel. It sealed up okay. The front never sealed fully though, it goes down very slowly. I noticed a few guys on forums said the Rallz don't seal very well with TUbliss. But not enough comments to know if it's a real issue or not.

Pleased to hear your views on this. Have been running the tubed variant on an EXC 500 F for 50 hrs of D/S and love it. Just put the tubeless on front and back to my 890r and expecting the same. Agree with grip levels vs full knobby on the lighter bike, but more predictable on road. Wet tarmac on both bikes is good. Possible issue with UK distribution as Adventure Spec are no longer supplying here after 3 yrs. Would hate to this product lost in this market and hope someone else will pick it up. Is it the unicorn??? Very close….

you can get motoz tractionator enduro I/T front for $110-120aud which is insanely cheap, I haven't tried it yet, has small knobs and probably be more of a 80/20 but for the price I gotta try it. I'm gonna pair it with the rallz rear

It might depend on your bike weight? I know the DR650 is just heavy enough to make an aggressive front knobby 'walk' when cornering hard on bitumen. But friends with 701s or lighter bikes say they don't notice this.

Rallz front was the first and only tire I've taken off a bike. I wasn't an incredibly aggressive rider at the time albeit I was using it on single track and 2 track when I decided to pull it off (on a klx250s). Never had a front tire wash out on me so much. The half used "track master" (not a good comparison but would consider that to be a 90/10 tire), didnt even compare as far as grip off road. And even the tkc-80 front tire I had prior to that kept me happier and safer on rides. There was an instance on the rallz where I went down a rocky slab and loose rocks double track wide, had the front wash on me when starting to turn, and for thr life of me there should have been zero reason for me to eat it as a road tire would have got me down just the same. I had such a good experience with the trac adventure previously too. All this to say, I personally think the tire looks more aggressive than it performed and to be a 70/30 tire maybe. And I think the rubber compound is tailored for locations like the outback or sw states. Other tire brands compounds have worked better for me in the PNW landscape and slippery terrain. Come spring I am thinking about testing it once again but on the 790 as I still have the rallz floating around. Always keen to re-test to see if my developed skills will differ my perception of the tire.

Im not sticking up for the motoz rallz but I wouldnt run any rally or adv tire on a klx250. The bike is too light for those tires to grip. Sick with 90% off road tires, they last a long time on a light bike. I found this out the hard way years ago when I tried my go to tires for my klr650 on my wr250r and they sucked on the lighter bike.

@nseric1233 Good point. Smaller knobs for smaller bikes, bigger knobs for bigger bikes. Around that time frame, I was coming off mainly touring the bike and whatnot and thought it may work to bridge the gap as I was getting into more dirt riding around them.

I agree, the KLX is light enough to run an 100% knobby on the front if you ride a lot of dirt. And if you ride a fair bit of road, maybe a Pirelli MT21?

Not sure if you can get the Tusk D sport tire in Aus but have been running those for a few thousand miles. The are really cheap at about $50. US and hold up really well. Rear traction is good and front is decent. They have a very stiff compound and side wall that make them a Bitch to mount but hard to get punctures and long wearing.

Your report is very accurate I believe. I ran the Rallz on the rear of a DR650 and now a Honda CB550X. On the DR I had the Rallz front - it did give away a bit on loose stuff and liked to wander when ridden hard on tar. I have the Dual Venture on the front of my CB500X and it is definitely a better tar tyre and, so far feels ok on dirt. I recently did 2500 km (MotoGP ride) on the CB500X with some big ADV bikes and had to ride really hard to keep up. We were riding mainly tar although I was planning a bit more dirt (thus the 70/30 tyres). On the tar these tyres were amazing- Omeo Hwy, Bonang Hwy as well as some really torrential downpours. The Rallz rear and DV front never gave me a moment. Loved them, although the caning I gave the bike meant a bit more wear on the rear than when I had the DR650 with the same tyre. I think these are the perfect mid sized ADV tyre for a mixture of tar/dirt, wet or dry. I also think the solid carcass is perhaps ( fingers crossed) more resistant to punctures - my experience any way after about 10,000 of Motoz tyres .

Good feedback Mike. I combined my opinions with dozens of others when I put the vid together, and most of the comments since then are very similar. Rear is brilliant. The front can be a bit sketchy for some and the Dualventure front is better... or the Desert front on lighter bikes.

I think any tyre will be fine with TUbliss. It really just comes down to following the instructions to minimize the chance of leaks. And add Slime or another tyre sealant to help in this respect.

I just bought a set of Mitas E-09 Dakar (or Enduro Trail XT+ Dakar in some markets) which are marketed as 80/20 offroad tires and the Dakar spec means harder rubber and carcass, so I'm hoping that they will get me trough the Sahara and back to Germany next month on my Big Red Pig

@@janniksims5740 I have a versys x 300 that I use to commute and for my road pleasure. I have a klr 650 that I adjusted to be my dream adv beast. Let's talk about my KLR 650. It is the machine I want to be able to ride hard with off road. and just want to be able to ride to about 50km on road towards the areas where we can start doing trails/offroad. From there on I will be riding mostly gravel / off road / occasional mud / and sometimes a few paved corners until the next stretch off road. My joy on this adv bike comes from being able to perform off road and feel like a rally pilot. I think I will spend 70% off road, 30% road. Because I have two machines, I like a softer compound. It's not a problem for me because I will only do about 5000km this year on the machine. Right now I'm thinking Motoz tractionator rallz on the rear and pirelli mt 21 rallycross on the front.

I've tried a variety of Motoz tyres now, generally ok but I do note that a lot of them have pretty solid sidewalls. If your tyre changing skills aren't too flash, might be a problem out in the scrub. 2000 K's out of a D606 rear?. You must ride a bit more aggressively than you think🤔, that's a pretty short lifespan

Nice. I have used the D605 as opposed to the D606. A great 50/50 tire with impressive off road performance for its tread, but the rear will likely only get around 4800 km at best, being at an estimated 70% wear by 3200 km on the rear center knobs. Cheap tire, but I'd rather pay a bit more and get some longer tread life.

I've the same setup now on my Honda 450L having used the Dunlop 606 rear and the PirelliDT something in the front. I wasn't pleased with the longevity with them but liked the performance especially the Pirelli. I bought the Rallz and have liked the rear but kept getting on the front a strange sideways movement at times on gravel like they were on a highway with those lines in it. It feels also like the actual front knobbies are folding over when pressure is applied? It doesn't seem possible but I have that up in my head when I am on loose stuff. What you describe may be the same. Ill try your idea as to the Dualventure up front .

Is there much difference in construction and weight between the RallZ and MT21? I've heard some opinions that the RallZ construction is oriented towards bigger and heavier bikes resulting in a heavier tyre, and on smaller 250-350 class bikes it's more unsprung weight than you really need to be carrying. Also I have enough trouble getting an MT21 spooned on, not keen on wrestling with anything significantly stiffer.

I have used the Rallz rear and think 🤔 it’s one ☝️ of the best ADV/dual sport tyres , BUT I don’t get as many kms as you , mine was spent in around 4500kms , I also used a Glodentyre GT 723 got around 5000km And with a rear Dunlop D606 around 4000km The riding was a mix of enduro , Dual sport trail riding and ADV riding - so dirt roads and good fire 🔥 trails . I think 🤔 all 3 their was little different in overall performance both on and off road and also on wet asphalt. Fronts I love my Mt21 sticks like 👍 shit to a blanket in all types of terrain. Because tyres are SO expensive now I just got another D606 last time . And for my large ADV bike I am actually trying the Dunlop trail max missions ( so far fantastic grip on road even in heavy rain 🌧️) and fantastic wear , I should get over 10,000km on a rear . But they are no enduro tyre more of a 70/30 I believe ( even through they say 50/50 ) as always great 👍 channel.

I have tried Motoz tyres on 2 bikes, The rear was great but the fronts on both my DR 650 and T7 were real sketchy, up to about 80 Kph they were fine but anything over it was scary, the front was very vague and the slightest thing would start a head shake, my T7 was real bad, cats eyes and white lines in the wet were like having no control on the front. So 2 different bikes and 2 different tyres has scared me off Motoz fronts, even the rear was a bit dicey on my T7 in the wet, but that could have been caused by other things like a shiny bit of bitumen or similar thing but not a big fan.

i have used the RallZ rear on my lil crf300l and like it, great offroad traction but fairs well on bitumen transport sections…but not tried the front version as its not aggressive enough…i may try the RallZ rear on my tyre munching xr650r (currently running the MotoZ Adventure)….as to a front I like the Metzeler 360 MC Mid Hard…a knobbie but one that wears similar to a MotoZ in true 70/30 50/50 adventure work… PS. tyre prices for motorcycles are cheap, my mtnbike has $120 tyres each end…roughly get 1000km rear/2000km front…😮

I usually run the rallz rear with either a golden tyre gt823 front or a michelin starcross 5 hard. That combo usually gets me about 6-7000ks on a 450 and 4-5000 on a 950 super enduro. I had tried the rallz front on a 5000k ride and while it lasted, it wasn't nice to ride with. Twitchy and not great confidence through dirt corners.

Took the rallz off the front of the dr and put a mt21 on it, loved the rear rallz but the front was horrible. . . Found it wandered around at speed, slid unexpectedly off rd. The mt21 was better off rd and almost as good on.

When you say "70/30", you mean 70% off pavement, 30% on pavement? Surely anything with knobs like that tire is more dirt oriented? Just a little confused, as at least in North America the road percentage usually comes first, followed by the off road percentage. Regardless, very interesting and thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I ride a CRF450RL in the Pacific NW with a lot of highway and forest roads and some easier single track to mix it up. I've put over 10K miles on a couple sets of the Rallz's and generally have good things to say about them. They do reasonably well on wet roads (as long as you aren't being too stupid). The rear tire is amazing and hooks up on everything - all of the time. I have experienced the front washing out enough that I've decided to experiment with the traditional Pirelli front and Dunlop rear. I don't have too many miles on that combo yet so can't truly compare but so far they seem to be equivalent (can't speak to wear). I have noticed a weird wear pattern on the front of the Rallz that means I replace them sooner than normal. Honestly...both combos are good tires and I might try the dual venture on my next swap. Only concern with the Rallz rear is that it is so stiff that fixing a puncture in the woods would be impossible as it's not feasible to remove the tire with any tools you're likely to be carrying.

Issues with the front Rallz is a general impression I've got from reading 100s of opinions. Massive thumbs up for the rear. But probably better looking at the Motoz Dualventure or Desert front. Or combine the rear with something like the Pirelli MT21.

M/C Tyres....like many things in life, you either make a good choice or a bad choice and it all comes down to individual needs; what works for one may not work for another as we all have our own riding style, speed and favourite terrain; when there are more good reviews than bad over many varied bike types and conditions like in the comments here, seems the Motoz would be hard to at least not give it a try; like all else these days, tyres are so bloody expensive so a bad choice will be a bad choice until the bad choice wears out....at least for me anyways; thanks to the channel and all of you who leave valuable feedback about a very controversial subject.

Tried rallz on my 1250GSA and they were a fail in just about all categories. Lasted less than 3k. Crazy loud. Useless on road. Decent off-road but they just didn't last long enough to find out. At $345 a pop I'll try something else.

I just threw a set of IRC TR8 on my XR650R yesterday They seem to wear hard like nails still pretty compliant not so stiff they run quiet on that bitchathane And they're cheap at least when I bought them a couple of years ago They were I like the Motoz ..good all around tire 👍

Down to minimum legal tread depth. 😎 Admittedly that was 10 years ago and I think I'm riding less aggressively nowadays. But riding buddies were getting the same. We are always stunned when we hear some guys saying they get 6000km out of a D606 rear. A 250 dual sport? Sure. But some DR650 riders are reporting this. 🤔

I have Rallz on my DR650 And the GPS on my KTM 690. I liked the dunlop missions but the wore weird. The GPS must be bonded with Rhino scrotum....3500 miles on the KTM and maybe 20% wear. Outstanding wet or snow road performance vs the missions. Impressed with both Motoz versions I have tried.

Just done short 25,000 km on a trip though out Australia had GPS tracktornata I can't spell it on the back an got 14,000 km had shinko 804 on the front change over in Karratha rod e back to tassy punish them ,kept the same on the back again and put a adventure motoz on the front Just hated it on the road but good on the dirt . and have put another 804 shinko on front love it the GPS is incredible great Tyer be good
