The show does a good job at portraying it, but at the same time it has Angel dust SH other characters and plays it off as a joke. Or even take the music in Hazbin vs S1 of Helluva Boss. In the latter certain characters will sing because it is in character for them to do as such, where as in Hazbin every character just sings even if it is out of character for them to do so, simply because it is trying to be a musical, it breaks the character for the genre.

For context on Katie Killjoy's voice actor, it's a reference one of the voice actors on Viv's other show Helluva boss. Brandon Rogers has a youtube channel where he plays a lot of different characters and he has one named "Bryce Tankthrust" (No I will not elaborate) who is very similar to Katie, so as a reference they had Brandon Voice Katie for the Amazon show.

While his speaking voice can sound a little similar to Alex Brightman, Vox the TV demon is actually voiced by two-time tony winner Christian Borle. He's known for playing Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde, Shakespeare in Something Rotten and Prince Herbert in Spamalot to name just a few. He's a fantastic performer if a little unhinged sometimes 😂

I love the way they did the story. We always hear Eve, but there are dozens upon dozens of different creation myths. In some of them Lilith was actually the first woman, not Eve. In one of those myths it is said she refused to submit to Adam and was cast out of the garden, becoming the first demon. Another reason I find this super cool is because Lilith is often called the mother of demons, so her being Lucifer’s bride fits well for the story they’re telling. Also, the x isn’t over her hair, it’s over her eye. The reason it doesn’t move with her hair is because it never leaves that spot on her face, they just draw it over her hair so it’s always visible and not hidden by her hair.

She was Adam's canonic First Wife. She was cast from the garden of Eden for refusing to bend the knee to Adam, claiming she was as equal as any man. She's regarded as one of the first - and one of a very few - feminist icons in any Abrahamic religious text. 2) As a witch myself, I can confirm that we have an entire sect known as "The Daughters of Lilith", or the "Cult of Lilith", and even outside of that sect, many witches - including myself - call ourselves Daughters of Lilith when referring to ourselves in conversation with any of the Abrahamic faiths (Jewish; Christian; Muslim). 3) Samael is just another name for Lucifer. When looking at a lot of Abrahamic texts (Bible; To'rah; Qu'ran), the names of Samael and Lucifer are both tied to the "Morning Star" and "Lightbringer" titles, leading to the modern idea of Samael being Lucifer's Angelic Name.

I don’t know the full lore for her yet (like if she is something like a heaven born or a just a dead soul from heaven) but the X was only after she was already in the afterlife. Alastor is the only one I’ve really seen with a mark on their body to show how they died (at least I’m pretty sure, could be wrong on this one). Either way the X is covering the eye that got ripped out of her head. I’m pretty sure she wears an eyepatch to cover the eyehole and there is an X over it to both show she has no eye in a very visible way that tv shows like to do and because she used to be an eXterminator.
