@@Themanchlid You got it early. I'm still on hold with BBTS. I'm not into the cartoon line, I had to pay outrages taxes. I will buy any of cartoon figures that weren't in the 80's line like Cringer, Marlena and I might buy Merman cartoon, looks like a different character. You did the same, put on velvet vest on Prince Adams, I replaced the head with the original vintage head on Adam too. For me it has too look like the 80's.

@TheRickster. Yeah, the cartoon figures will be hit or miss for some people. I think the Cringer alone is the most important part. Just the box set art with both Adam and Cringer is a must-have! Oh yeah, I had to put a vintage cloth vest on that Origins Adam. I left the head on because it feels more like a true hidden identity compared to the vintage He-man head. But he feels a lot more Nastalgic now!

Thanks for confirming Adam has a lighter skin tone than He-Man! That was my only nitpick. This is an awesome 2-pack with the multiple heads, sculpting and added articulation. Cringer looks dope and I like his eye color. Great review!

Yeah, Adam has a lighter skin tone than the cartoon He-man or the Other Origins He-man figures from what I can tell. He is supposed to come with another left gripping hand from the promotional images. But my figure doesn't have one. It's definitely a great set and a must-have for the Origins! The box art is freakin' phenomenal. This is gonna look awesome alongside my other origins boxed sets! Oh, and the cute blue creature is called, "Pookie." (I only remember because that's what Garfield called his Teddy Bear.) These two are my favorite Filmation MOTU characters, can't wait to get 'em in hand. In my head canon, I like to imagine everyone knows Adam is He-Man, they just play along! :D Thanks for another great review, MC!

Great review! Looking forward to this set! EVERY Adam and He-Man figure should have a vertical hinge joint on their right hands by default at this point. Crazy that He-Man doesn't. I never realized until now that the MOTU Classics Cringer's snaggletooth was sculpted on the wrong side of his mouth! Thanks for pointing that out. The artwork has been fantastic. And I feel like something big is planned for She-Ra's 40th anniversary with all the artwork teases. She-Ra & Swift Wind are included in the artwork for the Collector and this if the 2nd time we've seen Imp. Also look more closely at the design of the butterfly above Adam's head... that's clearly Flutterina. 🤩

Thanks for checking out the review! Yeah this definitely Prince Adam and Cringer set is definitely a must and probably one the coolest Origins figure two packs yet this year! I think both He-man and Adam where supposed to come with an extra hand to have the reverse Hinge joint or alternative hand. Both of my figures never came with one. I looked online at the promotional images of Adam and it shows he comes with another hand. My figure did not! The Classics Cringer has cool details but he's very small and dose not articulate. Plus the tooth is on the opposite side of the face like you mentioned that is opposite of the cartoon. But I think there was episodes where Cringers tooth was on that side sometimes. It's not a big deal to me to honest. I think they certainly have big plans for She-Ra in the Origins Cartoon line coming for her 40th Anniversary 👍

I got a haircut today, i went to target just to look, i saw this picked it up and, FLASHBACK to my childhood. If i behaved when getting my haircut my parents would reward me only child at the time, take me either target or toysrus for my heman toys. Full circle 😂my toys matured with me 😅 i dont need vintage, Modern still hits the nostalgia button. A nice piece all around in box or out.

This is great. I can’t wait to get ahold of this release! My only small wish is that it would have been cool if they gave Prince Adam another sword; a translucent pink one with a bit of sparkle in it. But that’s just a personal wish list. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for checking this review out! It's always appreciated!! This is one of the best Origins figure sets yet! The prince Adam looks really good. Yeah, it would have been cool to get another pink power sword like you mentioned. But I guess that wasn't really a thing in the cartoon series. So I wouldn't expect it with this figure even though this cartoon line is messing around with colors. The Cringer is the most exciting figure to me after waiting 40 years for some kind of vintage inspired or cartoon inspired Cringer on this scale. Well, here he is and definitely a must-have! I hope you get one of these sets in hand soon👍

These reviews are always great. Glad I preordered this. The Walmart figures I’m hoping turn up at BBTS as they are a pain to get here in the U.K. if you don’t preorder them straight away they go plus they have a premium price.

Yeah, I would definitely preorder this set now from BBTS being in the UK or even the USA because it's a highly wanted figure set, and it will probably be expensive on the second market once the sets come and go I'm guessing. It depends on how many they make and ship. Sometimes, certain Walmart exclusives show up later at places like BBTS. So, hopefully, they will get those exclusives down the road 👍

This Prince Adam figure looks damn near perfect to me! I don’t mind the one that came with the Sky Sled, but this one I think captures the Filmation look perfectly! I didn’t realize the hand has the vertical swivel joint to hold the sword aloft, which is a great touch. If only the He-Man figures had those, I know the first Club Grayskull Classics version had it. And it is great to finally have a cartoon-accurate Cringer in the line! I really like both heads. After 40 years, we can finally just switch out Battle Cat with Cringer and vice versa instead of removing the saddle and helmet to pretend that he’s Cringer and then putting them back on! That was always so annoying as a kid when I would act out the transformation sequences. Great review! Since you always take the time to answer, I have a quick question. I’ve googled it but would like your opinion as a toy collector. The ball joint on my He-Man figure has gotten incredibly loose, so much so that I thought it broke. My son and I just opened Battle Armor He-Man and I was trying to take the vintage-inspired head and put it on the basic He-Man figure. I guess too much pulling and pushing on the peg caused some wear and tear on the plastic (something I’ve noticed happening quite a bit with these figures unfortunately). Would you recommend using a Q-tip to brush a drop of Pledge or some kind of clear floor polish into the joint and letting it dry to stiffen it up and reinforce it? That seems to be the general consensus I’ve seen online. I’m not a huge toy collector except for this line, so maintaining them is a fairly new thing for me. The hands on some figures were also a bit loose out of the package. I need to find a solution that won’t damage them or require me to try and take the figures apart and reassemble them. Thanks for taking the time to watch another review, as always, Damon! This Prince Adam and Cringer Two pack is one of the best Origins or cartoon collection figures to come out yet this year. The cartoon Prince Adam looks great with the newer style vest and colors. The most important figure to me and many of us now is that cartoon Cringer! The sculpt, size, and articulation are perfect for this line. He also compares good against the older Origins battle Cat, which will work well for that setup together on a shelf or display. I have a feeling a new cartoon battle cat isn't far off. The box with the art and both figures in the window is awesome as is! Yeah, we waited 40 years for a Cringer that is now part of this Origins line. The new wrist joint for Adam is a great choice for raising the sword up. However, the promotional images show Adam also coming with a second hand to replace the left hand, I think. My figure did not come with another hand. As far as loose or sloppy joints or ball pegs. You use clear nail polish with a small brush or Qtip, as you mentioned. You might have to put a couple of coats to tighten it up. Apply some polish and let it dry for a while. Then see if it's tighter. If not, apply another coat and let it dry again. I use a product called Kiki joint tighting liquid that is on Amazon sometimes. I have also heard of that pinesol being used as well. Also, use a blow dryer on low heat to soften the heads to or hands to parts swap. I have messed up ball pegs and joints often by just pulling things apart without them being warm enough. Some of the joints are also just poorly made now.

​@@Themanchlid Hey I just got mine and discovered something fun you can do with the extra Cringer head. You can put it on a Rattlor neck to make an anthropomorphic Cringer. I have him displayed on a various Eternian parts body with Orko and laughing Adam, like Orko did another bad spell 😅

@@jacobstoner208 Congron getting your Cringer and Adam pack now! Yeah the Cringer head can fit regular Origins ball pegs as I tried. But the face hair gets in the way of the neck. You definitely need an extension piece. I wasn't gonna spend anymore time trying that in the review because i wasn't sure how many people would be interested in that. Also i wanted to cut time down. But I did consider trying the Cringer head on a couple of Origins at the time. That's interesting you used the Rattlor neck as an extension.👍

Great set!!! Nice review!! It just goes to show you that Mattel really messed up on He-Man!!! He should be much darker!!!! God, how did they not see that. I hope they re-make He-Man, darker and include a new face sculpt and a Faker head with white glowing eyes, and the hand that can have him pose the sword during transformation. Cringer is amazing!! He will work with Club Grayskull or Masterverse/New Eternia as well! Perfect size!! Filmation Battle Cat has to be coming.....He will be incredible with the articulation.

Thanks for watching, as always, man! Yeah, the colors are exactly perfect to the filmation with some of these figures. Heman is a little darker in tone compared to Adam. But he's definitely darker in the filmation cartoon. I'm just happy to finally get a cool looking cartoon inspired Cringer with different heads that can work for the Vintage or Cartoon Origins setup and figures. He can work with the Masterverse, but I think he's a little smaller in scale like the Classics Cringer.

Thanks for stopping by already to check out the review on this set. Honestly, I think the plastic vest looks better than cloth on this figure. I like the color and how clean it fits the body compared to the cloth vest that I tried. I think the exact fit for that plastic vest on the cartoon body is more accurate to the look of the cartoon. The cloth vest on the vintage Origins Adam looks much better going back to the original vintage figures design. The whole box set in itself with the window and art is perfect!👌

I like this Prince Adam and Cringer set says me a 50 year old man. Lol I grew up with MOTU and the cartoon being really popular back when I was in elementary school. Awesome video. I don't have many of the new cartoon line. Actually only 2. The Skeletor and Teela. I'll probably end up getting all or most of this cartoon line.

Now 40 years there so much Masters of the Universe brands and figures out. It's cool the Origins line is getting into this Cartoon series of figures. I have them all so far. I reviewed most of them. @@BamaTony73 There's a lot of the regular vintage inspired Origins figures out. Not mention exclusives and variants. Most are on eBay at this point or places like BBTS toy store might have some older stock. Chasing the older figures now is a expensive! Mattel has been releasing fan favorites which is a second run of certain popular figures like Mer-Man, Trap-jaw, Trap-jaw Webstor to name a few. Big Bad Toy store might have those. The cartoon line has about 10 or so figures now. There also the Collector ship coming out soon that is a big flying vehicle with a skull that was in the cartoon sometimes.

@@Themanchlid Yes I've seen Skeletor's Collector on pre-order, also have seen a set with Skeletor figure included with the Collector for maybe around 55 bucks or so. Not too bad for him with it. But yeah chasing the old ones can get ridiculously expensive. Noticed an Original Faker from back in the day (still in packaging) for around $555 bucks. Now that's getting crazy. Lol Appreciate it, yeah I thought there was around 10 or so out. Evil Lyn is supposed to be coming out in the next cartoon wave she could already be out not sure. You could have already did a video on it, Haven't noticed. I'll definitely get around to watching more of your Motu videos.

@@BamaTony73 Yeah older figures in package are crazy expensive! I also bought most of the MOTU classics line of figures. It took me a few years and thousands of dollars to get them all. So yeah I get high cost as a collector to complete a collection of figures I discovered later. I have the cartoon Evil-Lyn and new Reptilax in hand. I haven't gotten a chance to review them yet.

Thanks for stopping by as man! Yeah, the Classics Cringer was definitely not right looking or just too small. I think they did a really good job on the Cringer and overall set! I can totally see a New Cartoon battle cat coming with the newer colors and articulation to match Cringer sometime soon👍

I absolutely love what they did with Cringer and if I didn't had so many MotU pre-orders for June and July I would definitely get two of these, one for cartoon and one for Masterverse display. If Cringer's articulation is a new standard, I really can't wait to see the cartoon Battle-Cat (and Panthor!). They really screwed up articulation on Origins Battle-Cat as with no ankle articulation they rendered the rest of the articulation pointless. 🙄 As always, great review! 🙂

Thanks for watching as always! I'm glad to hear you also really like the design of Cringer and this overall set! Yeah, there's lots of stuff on Preorder status shipping around June or July. I have a feeling there's a cartoon battle cat in the works with the newer paint application and articulation to match this Cringer. Maybe a Pathor as well, just using the Battle cat tooling. That lack of paw articulation really hurt that Origins Battle Cat articulation design. Everything else is great with that figure.

@@Themanchlid yes, I believe we are getting cartoon Battle Cat soon as he was already teased in the box art but I am really curious to see what they did to make him more toon accurate as that might be a little tricky. I am also wondering what they plan to do with Orko as I really like the Origins figure. They've made a bit unusual design choice with him, though as unlike other Origins figures it looked nothing like a vintage toy and design was more cartoon-like. I got Origins Orko for my Masterverse display and I got a PO for the re-issue, but I will probably cancel that PO and hope cartoon Orko is coming soon. 😃

@hegga_nm I'm sure we will also get a cartoon Orko with Battle Cat for this line, maybe later this year. I guess they changed the Origins Orko design to make him more modular and articulated compared to that heavy vintage orko with the pull cord. I also thought that was awkward as a kid. I'm guessing the cartoon Orko will also have a display stand setup similar to the Origins release Orko.

@@Themanchlid yeah, vintage Orko was weird but to be fair to Mattel, what other action feature could they fit in that body? 🤣 Although not perfect, Cartoon line is killing it imo and I really can't wait to see what's next. 😃

@hegga_nm Those actions feature and play gimmicks were the thing for that time. I like what the Origins have done with most figures now compared to the vintage. I guess we will see what else they have planned later this year👌

Thanks for watching! The Turtles and Cartoon lines are hit or miss for many Vintage inspired Origins collectors. I always prefer the vintage figures first. But I really got into both the Origins Turtles and Cartoon lines now. The cartoon figures are really cool to see mixed with the regular Origins figures. Again, some figures are more interesting than others. But this Prince Adam and Cringer set is a must-have for the Regular or Cartoon collections. The Cringer alone has been a figure I wanted since the vintage line as a kid, then. He probably wouldn't have had the articulation or details now that the Origins line gave him. I love this set! I have a few Mondo figures, but I never got that battle cat. That's cool. My review inspired you to preorder this set again and help support the Origins line. That will keep newer figures coming 👍

Thanks for watching as always! Yeah, I started getting some Masterverse figures out for heads. But none of the colors were worked, and i also was gonna get the Classics and Masterverse Battle Cat for comparisons. But I cut those ideas to save time, and I felt the New Cringer really worked best for the Origins line Battle Cat. I think he should be a bit larger for Masterverse. But he could work if you really wanted to use him.

This box set is not even out! How did you get it? On Big Bad Toys they are on preorder. Anyways the eyes in "Cringer" can be easily painted with light yellow with some "Tamiya" brand paint.

Thanks for watching and asking that question! That interesting. I actually thought about making another Transformation opening with the Origins very simular to the Masterverse one. That was a lot of work and trailer and error to put together even though there was no animation with the figures which is really a lot of work to make it look good. Yeah maybe at some point I might put those for together take some picks and try add special effects. It's gonna be a little tricky with both Adam and Cringer in frame then turn them within the flashing lights. But it's definitely something I will play around with👍

Will Cringers has fit on a regular origins ball peg?

Thanks for checking out the review! Yes Cringer has the same Peg as the Regular Origins. I tried it on Prince Adam and Skeletor and the head outer face fur gets in the way by hitting the shoulders before the head can snap on to the peg. I can only turn the head to the side to push it on the peg. It needs and extension of such. I can't remove the Cringer neck piece so far. I was gonna try that too.

Small complaint about the new bicep sculpt.They removed a little bulk which IMO is what makes Heman.Classics kept true to the muscles we loved in the original line.Still great figure.

Thanks for checking the review out! Yeah, they are a little different compared to the vitamin biceps. They seem more narrow and oval to me. But I think they still look better compared to the Masterverse Biceps we're they really under cut the Muscle to articulate the arm all the way up with the double elbow joints. I'd rather have a single elbow joint with the larger classics style biceps. Overall, my favorite design will always be the Vintage inspired bodies and arms going back to the nastalgia.

I can afford to buy these toys because I have an old beat-up car with low insurance and no payments . I have a very small house with a low mortgage left. I don't eat out much. And i don't don't have a lot of money in credit card dept. Yeah, these toys get expensive. It's easy to spend over a Hundred dollars a month sometimes. I only do it as an investment to this channel to try to have figures early for review. Other times, I just preorder them for retail costs I as recommended to most people. Everything was cheap in the 80s. We live in a whole another reality now with costs.

Yeah, I think twice they showed that. But it was only He-man saying power return, and he turned back to Adam. I thought there was an episode where Adam was on battle cat without being He-man or transformed back for some reason, and Cringer didn't.

However, I do pay a higher cost to get these figures in hand a little earlier as an investment to my channel or to just have newer content. Otherwise, I would just preorder from BBTS and wait.
