I really love how the berries turned out. I think I'd take the strawberries a step further and glue tiny seed beads on them in a color similar to the real seeds. So darn cute. Thanks 🤩

Awesome! As a side note, your undermat caught my eye. A very familiar item that Sis and I used in the 3+ years we cared for our elderly Mom. 😻

Hi Louise, a great video, thank you. Perhaps you could try frozen berries for mould making? They would be firm and wouldn't get squashed quite so easily until they started to defrost?
@LouiseSingletonCreations
@LouiseSingletonCreations 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, your idea gave me an idea. I’m not sure if moulding a frozen berry would help with the demoulding because it would defrost before the mould was cured but maybe it would work to freeze it in the mould once the mould is ready. Thank you for your idea!

@@LouiseSingletonCreations thanks Louise. I have that. Just find it a wee bit challenging sometimes. I will plow on. Beautiful berries BTW. I’ll get back to producing my usual 2 videos a week soon - my 15.5 year old dog “Baby” is/has been dying for a few weeks (no pain- vet just says it’s time now). We also moved 5 weeks ago - other stuff etc. 🥰

Oh Jules I’m so sorry to hear that. Dogs really are a part of the family I can imagine the distress you are going through. I deliberately never started a routine with my videos because I find that I can’t work that way. I make videos when I feel I have something worth sharing rather than doing it just because people are waiting . My goal is a stress free life! I admire people like you who can manage to stick to a routine, maybe one day I will too.

Thanks so much for another wonderful video. I am just starting to try making my own molds. I would have never thought about using fresh fruit. They turned out beautiful 😍. I have a question for you. Have you ever tried using silicone to make a mold from a wax candle? I have a beautiful candle that I would like to make a mold for resin from. I haven't been doing this very long, so I'm kinda clueless 😅. Do you know if the. Silicone would work on wax? Thank you for any assistance in this matter. I love your videos, all of your work is amazing. And I love your little puppy at the beginning of your videos 😁.

Thank you Pamela x. I haven’t made a mould using a wax object but you can get silicone moulds for making wax candles so, to me that proves that silicone works well with wax so there shouldn’t be a problem x

Hi Linda, I’m so sorry to hear this. I would need to know more, what resin did you use? Did it set even a little bit or stay completely liquid? It happened to me once and that is because I had accidentally mixed up my bottles and used the same part twice. If this happens I have read that you can put it in the freezer and then remove it from your mould when it is frozen (I haven’t tried it though). Another possibility that springs to mind is that perhaps you have changed to a different resin and not not noticed that it has a different mixing ratio. I’ve seen it happen to a lot of people who have presumed it is a 1:1 resin because the bottles were the same. I’m just going through things that happen to others, it happens easily and it can happen to anyone. Xx

HI Louise, You are such a lovely lovely lady to help me out I used the resin Called craft resin a 1to1 mix the only one I have used , I was going to throw away all of my resin stuff my Confidence went out the window but reading what u said about mixing up the bottles I think u are 100% Right because it was so Sticky & Such a mess so I am going to cut my Losses keep all my stuff & thanks to u I am going to give it Another go Louise, u have given me back some of my confidence THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ❤️❤️. as I have spent a small Fortune on resin bits & bobs, as I am Disabled I thought this craft might help me because I do card making I really enjoy that but when things go Wrong it is so hard but thank you Louise, as I really did have No one else to ask ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍✨🐕
