Moulton deluxe Isle of Mull 2, bike packing Scottish islands Mull and Iona

Three days expedition with my daughter on the bikes doing the lower loop of Island of Mull with Iona island also included in it. 87 miles all together. All cycling in brilliant weather through some amazing landscape full of breathtaking views. This trip was done on Luisa's request as she really liked our trip to Mull last year. Her plan and dream was to visit Iona island. I was more or less obstacle in her way with my camera, whisky and stupid old bike:-] Gradually she became used to me though and I would even say she enjoyed the trip again and value the whole experience really high now... I hope so anyway, she wouldn't admit it yet as she is a cool teenager at the moment and I am for her.... well just a walking/cycling embarrassment:-]
We chose the very end of the summer for this trip. We cycled the vast majority of the mileage in first two days.. I am really proud of Luisa [14 years of age] and I know she worked hard on the bike and it wasn't easy for her at times! I am also proud of my old 59 years old friend Moulton deluxe bicycle. He did a brilliant job once again. I would never start again with road cycling in my life without this bicycle..
Filmed on 30th and 31st of August and 1st of September 2024 on Islands of Mull and Iona in Scotland.

Mull is stunning, the B road to Salen was something else, surrounded by mountains and the sea and shared with your daughter. Im sure that will live long in the memory of you both.
