I did a similar route on my battered '88 CBR400 in 2004 and loved it. Would love to go back again .

You are one of the reasons, along with Baron Von Grumble, that I’ve got back into bikes at 54 after a 16 year lay off. Got a two year old VFR800F and a 1973 Bonny in my garage. Very happy. Thank you...!

Nice droneage. You're so modest: the telescopists/binocularists were there to witness the passing of the lesser spotted TMF on it's annual migrations through the western isles. Nicely done. Thanks.

That stretch of western Mull, the Gribun coastline, is so spectacular. Reminds me of a camping trip there 20 yrs ago when our three daughters were under 4, best family holiday we ever had. Started with a day of heavy rain and turned into bright sunshine and warmest location in the uk for 10 days. West coast can't be beat if you have the weather and a breeze to keep the midges away

15.28 I think that cottage glimpsed on the left is the holiday cottage my mother & father in-law used to use, just below the waterfall with the occasional eagle soaring on the clifftop and otters playing on the waters edge.

“They tend to travel in clumps!” Now that cracked me up! I’m up in New Hampshire again and got to spend 3 days here for bike week. Sitting in my room watching this series and really enjoying it. Just upgraded to the GoPro Hero 7 Black and loving the quality of it. I had bought the Rylo 360 and had it on the front of my bike for a track day run but it overheated and shut off and I didn’t notice it so I missed getting footage of that. Didn’t know it had overheating issues. So I’ll keep it but film it in the open case now. Had it in the full protection case. So I went to Best Buy and got the GoPro on sale for $329 USD. I so wish I had it on track day. Of well. Lesson learned. Thanks for the videos. Relaxing to watch!

Brings back some happy memories of childhood holidays. Looks great! The bit with the drone was a nice touch, like it. I’ve come down to London with the family for the weekend, popped over to Hyde park and got chatting with one of the security staff who was with his Tiger 1050. You were brought up in conversation, how about that. Me an exile Sunderland lad living in East Yorkshire and him a guy from London, chance meeting and both TMF subscribers. Bringing people together 🙂.

Always get a sense of achievement when I do the same(ish) route as one of my favourite KZbinrs! Did Mull yesterday, absolutely blown away with it, like a mini Isle of Skye, but equally as impressive. Fionforte was a lot of effort for not much there, unless you're going to Iona. Where you turned right to go to Salen, I went left and kept following the coast. The road between Dervaig and Balamory was unbelievable! A proper hidden gem.

I must get back up there asap! Great place eh?

@@TheMissendenFlyer absolutely mate! I took the return ferry from Lochaline to Fishnish, on and off Mull the same day, spent about 6 hours there, but could easily knock 2hrs off without going to Fionphort. Thanks for the vid Andy, it gave me the inspiration to get onto Mull. 👍🏻👍🏻

Enjoyed this - thanks for letting us ride along! The Scottish Western Isles are truly beautiful. Enjoyed the ferry rides - grew up with the Mayport Ferry (30min.) in Florida. Rode on the Vancouver to Nanaimo, BC Ferry (1.5 hours) and the Nova Scotia to Newfoundland Ferry (6-7 hours) a number of times for employment. Riding the Mayport Ferry with my grand daughters this summer for the first time! Want to visit the UK but would probably be stopped at customs and sent back due to political views! My UK bike ride will probably never happen LOL!!! "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson
