I live in the mobile home park at the entrance to the Dora Canal (15:30) and I never knew it was built on top of a Seminole Indian camp. I knew that it had been a fish camp & trailer park back in 1950 with a beach along the canal. Now it's a lot of old trailers. You learn something new everyday!

We are from Southern Ontario and absolutly love Mt Dora area. we come down for 2 weeks in April, and our rental comes with a pontoon boat to discover the Harris chain of lakes. including Lake Dora. We also spent 4 winters in our 5th wheel down there. Keep up the videos, great to see the Florida sunshine etc, while its snowing like crazy out, as it is right now. Thanks for sharing.

I am interested in purchasing a 28' Airsetream trailer. I think it probably weighs around 5,000 lbs. How big of a vehicle do you think I need to pull it comfortably?
@TravelingRobert8 жыл бұрын
+Jon Spencer Hi John. A 28 footer is probably going to weight quite a bit more than 5000lbs especially once you add cargo and the heaviest cargo which is water. Make sure exactly and then look for a truck that can do at least 25% more. You probably need a tow vehicle capable of towing 10k to be safe especially if you plan to climb any hills. Hey good luck and happy trails!

I like your travel trailer. how much weight is it? and how much can your suv tow max? I'm looking to buy a single axle TT or possible double axle. Also trade In for suv or truck. current a car. btw nice video you do.
@TravelingRobert8 жыл бұрын
+Ram Daniel Hi. The trailer is about 3000 lbs dry and my SUV can tow 3500, so I try not to load it too much since I am right up there at the limit of my tow vehicle capabilities. At about 8 lbs a gallon, water is usually the heaviest stuff so whenever it is feasible I try to move with my tanks nearly empty.
@ramdaniel87998 жыл бұрын
Wow that's pretty tight weights. Not bad for 3,000 lbs for double axles. Thanks for info.
