Nothing encapsulates my love for the tranquillity of London city streets better than this song; it's ethereal sentiment is overwhelmingly euphoric. On occasions in which my ears are graced to hear this beautiful ambience, nothing in the world seems to matter any more. Mount Kimbie, truly incredible.

Weird how this song is an international anthem to the after club experience. Never lived in London but still get goosebumps when I watch that video. When you walk out, still have that last beat buzzing in your ears. Unsure about what you've taken from that strange guy and what you should have done with that girl there. No more battery. Unsure about how you'll feel next week and if anything really makes sense anymore. Now I associate those mixed feelings with being Carbonated and this video.

I have a memory that will stay with me forever of being on a night flight listening to this while flying over Istanbul. I don't know what it was but there was some sort of sensory overload and every time I listen to it it brings back the images of a sprawling lit up city and the feeling that I was on my own thousands of feet above the streets.

I love this song and everything I've heard of Mount Kimbie. My very wise and loved friend sent me this song on a mix cd. I love every minute of it and I listen to it when I'm walking to class, when I need courage. I spend a lot of time in my car and rolling through flat Texas, looking at fields that seem to last forever - I take this music there. Thanks, Mount Kimbie!

id say the entire recession was a huge leap in creative energy because a lot of alternative and indie artists had began their feat here (death grips, tycho, toro y moi, clams casino, mount kimbie) as well as a lot of awesome experiences with friends, like mw2 and having that as a coping mechanism at the time
@walterroux2914 жыл бұрын
@@clawzx1195 i think we're seeing another huge leap right now with creative energy during the pandemic. People been finally doing their ideas they've been stalling on forever, given them more time to do it. It's a factor that will never truly be accounted for but whilst some businesses go out of business, new ones are emerging with a huge entrepenrial boost.

I think what makes this video so great is its simplicity. It's not trying to say anything about what you see in there, it's just presenting it as is. all they did was film some people. there's no metaphor or fancy message; what's beautiful about this is that it stands naked, as it is.

This is tremendous! I am writing this with pure emotion - in awe! I was fortunate to live in the U.K. for two years, 2016-2018, and they were the best two years of my entire 23 years of life. Leaving nightclubs like Village Underground, Last Days of Shoreditch, Box Park Shoreditch, Egg, Fabric, or Studio 338 at 8am the next morning was such an exhilarating experience. I, still, until this day, can not get over how prevalent and ubiquitous the nightlife scene is in the U.K. - especially London. I mean, there's a scene for everyone; techno, house, afro-beat, rap, Latin, etc... I'm writing this into existence, but I will live in the U.K., hopefully, London, again one day. Always follow the music. Much love to you all.
