It's an interesting spot to hike too, the re-route caught me by surprise, it was pretty difficult. I enjoy winter to see spots that are usually covered with leaves and plants look completely different!

I like the early spring before the undergrowth takes over. It's so much better for views and hiking in general. This looks like a pretty challenging trail but worth it man! Nice work!!

It got challenging in certain parts, I wasn't expecting it to be. For sure, before all the green comes it tends to make the hike a little easier! Glad you enjoyed it!

Hiking at different seasons each have their advantages and disadvantages. Add to winter advantages, less bugs and heat/humidity,lol. Gorgeous view even though the trails were like goat paths. Thanks for the adventure 😃👍👍 Take Care

That's the truth! I enjoy the less bugs and that humidity for the winter, I feel like the views in spring, summer, and fall are better than winter views haha.

Seen Fleetwood Mac live twice, when I took 'Miss' Metalman for a weekend in London in 1980 and then again at the O2 in London, when I took 'Mrs' Metalman for my 60th birthday in 2015. Looked a real canny hike and I love the big cross and that must be some view when you climb to the top. Cheers Alan

Such a pretty place. Have you run into any bears during your hikes? That is what I fear the most. Do you always go with a buddy or do you hike by yourself also? I'm only 5' 5" so a lot of vegetation is as big as me 😂 That's a huge cross!!! You put so much great info in the description, you should do more of that within your video while you are hiking. Not everyone reads the description. The view is so pretty up there!!!! Thanks for letting us come along during the beginning of Spring.

That's interesting to hear you are related to Lyn. Did you know her when she was alive? My childhood is filled with memories of driving by the cross at night and seeing it lit up way up on the mountain. I was told the story of how it came to be and always wondered what she was like. I thought it was a beautiful story. What do you think she would think about being given such a memorial?
