Memories of hiking with our dogs. They always put us bipeds to shame, they climb all over trails seemingly effortlessly and with infinite energy. And they always made sure to go into the dirtiest water and mud patches, of course. Using their harnesses too to rescue them when they did something daft, the look on their faces were always priceless as we'd pick them up via the harnesses, swear it was embarassment on their part. An absolute blast and so much character from them. If we had family with us, they'd run up and down the pack to make sure we were all there, and get angsty when anyone was trailing behind or going too far ahead, or off on their own. I'm sure they always covered twice the trail distance we ever did by the time we finished. They also kept you going and are the best company on walks. Miss them dearly! Best company you can imagine, and after years in the same family, you can read and understand eachother as if they were human.

Been watching your vids for as long as i've been watching Kraig's! Both of you should venture across the lake and give sections of the Long Trail a shot in VT - I think the stretch from Lincoln Gap to Ithiel Falls would be a killer point-to-point multi-day section for hikers as experienced as you two. If not, Lincoln Gap to Mt. Ellen is one of my favorite sections in VT to hike... and one of the most challenging!
As an Adirondack 46 this is my favorite of all your videos. I've hiked so many with my dog as well. The memories I have in that mountain range is something I'll never forget.

With all the uphill hiking I can tell you have very strong legs and a great lung compacity. I used to do a lot of hiking in Oregon and I was in tip-top shape. Now at my old age, I do not walk very well and have many diseases. I think this is the first video where you do not curse and I found that refreshing because I hear so much of it on TV and in public places.
@bruhmagic13234 жыл бұрын
I think cursing isn’t necessarily bad, for some people it’s a way to express themselves. When people I know don’t swear on purpose, they feel fake or restrained.

@@bruhmagic1323 No Bruh, cursing is always bad. It shows there is something wrong deep down...

@@mikeoglen6848 I can promise you that swearing is often just used as emphasis or something you say in the heat of the moment, say if your in danger. I’ll tell you right now that I bet that you have sworn and I’m pretty sure that there is nothing wrong deep down inside of you. What I don’t like about swearing is when they are used in hate or at the expense of another person.

I love everything you do, and your presentations are among the best anywhere. This one was equally beautiful but right up there with my favorite. It got to my heart. I absolutely love dogs as you do but this one with your "borrowed" dog might be your best ever. How cool you gave this doggie an adventure she and most dogs never get. I notice you kiss her often. Wonderful, I kiss my dog often as well and it's a male! I explain it's not the same with owners and dogs as people. He don't' care and neither do I. I love him beyond words. I too take him hiking in many places and so manty other places, I could write a book. He is a constant crowd gatherer. Also, a girl magnet. Wish I had him when I was twenty. Anyway, this video was absolutely wonderful.
