Great series. Nice drone footage and music. Done all the places featured, though not all on one trip! It's really special to be spending time with Kai this way. Far to few kids get to experience this. He's a lucky boy.

Ripper vid mate How would I go in a Colorado with decent set of tyres in summer?
@TylerThompson905 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, should be alright in the dry if you can pick the right lines and let the tyres down to 16-18 PSI

Another top vid mate! Love that place, did Mt Pinnebar track in the wet last November, scary as but got up ok.
@TylerThompson906 жыл бұрын
Definitely would be trickier in the wet on some of those steep clay bits!

Absolutely love this series Tyler. Great work mate. Can't wait to see more. Not sure I'd ever have the patience of backtracking so much to film. Thanks for all your effort!

Cheers mate! Thanks for watching :) Yep takes a bit of effort to film haha but worth it

David Booth Hey Tyler, Congrats on your videos, just discovered them and really enjoying the trips. Especially loving the music, I don't know why most other video makers have such bad taste in music! Keep having fun with your family. Cheers.

How do you reckon Pinnibar would go with a trailer?
@TylerThompson906 жыл бұрын
It gets fairly steep/loose in some spots mate. I haven't had much experience towing trailers off road but I would think you would be okay with something capable/plenty of power (land cruiser/patrol etc) but may struggle in a basic ute/prado etc
@CruiserBrah6 жыл бұрын
Sweet I actually have a R51 Pathfinder and it holds it it's own pretty well. Straps generally not an issue as long as there are no big rock ledges and such. I live in Canberra and the Brindies is my home turf, it eats Macintyres for breakfast. If Pinnibar is like that then I should be sweet.
@CruiserBrah6 жыл бұрын
I will add, I have planned pretty well the same trip as you buy we were going to do Davies High plain, Wonnongatta, craigs Hut. If Davies is still closed then Pinnibar it will be.
@TylerThompson906 жыл бұрын
Well in relation to Macintyres I would say its a little more difficult but not by too much so if Macintyres is easy then you should be sweet! But also track conditions may have changed since i was there in January. Im super keen to do the Davies Plain track but its been closed both times we've been
@CruiserBrah6 жыл бұрын
@@TylerThompson90 we did Davies High plain about 8 or 9 years ago amd it was pretty easy. I had a GQ then, standard other than a 2 inch lift and we only put it in 4wd twice heading up there.

How hard are the tracks mate I’ve been thinking of going to do them soon. I have a pretty stock d40 what do you rekn?
@TylerThompson905 жыл бұрын
Had to say mate, they change around a lot and depends on your experience. When i did Mt Pinnibar track back in Easter this year it would have been a pretty big struggle in a stock D40 unless you were well experienced
@ethandale225 жыл бұрын
Good tyres and a snorkel I’m just starting to do it up

With no intent of pissing on ya campfire, drones are not permitted in the KNP....
@rogerchambers13096 жыл бұрын
That's not quite accurate, you can fly drones in KNP but there are restrictions. Check the NSW Environment website.
@tysonmillar6 жыл бұрын
True. To re-clarify, you can't operate a drone in the KNP without Park Manager consent. As some is shot within the Thredbo leasehold this makes it more complicated, as again you can't fly unauthorised drones within the resort boundary without consent from Thredbo management (good luck!) @@rogerchambers1309 Just flagging it, for those wanting to do something similar.
@rogerchambers13096 жыл бұрын
@@tysonmillar all good mate, agreed getting permission =complicated.
