Thank you for showing that move I always wondered how it was done I would like to see more of the different repairs and how its done I would like to see the side of the building just to see how the operation goes to start the engines get started in the morning again thank you for showing how you move them in the shop REB.

I am guessing the overhead crane won't pick it? Would be a lot of crane. How much does that locomotive weigh?

The Cog Railway has always been known for innovation, which is the basis of these videos. We will always work to preserve history and hope to have some steam running, but it becomes more complex as those machines age. They were not cut back for environmental concerns but to help them last longer and continue to be a centerpiece of our history. Innovation has always been our focus, and we are working with UNH on an electric vehicle program that will hopefully lead to electric engines on the mountain in the future.
