I definitely appreciate your videos with dialogue. However, short videos without talking like this are refreshing and pleasant. So I say keep what you've been doing and throw something like this in once in a while. BTW Nice choice in hot springs. I just went to that specific one for the first time last week. Was disappointed to see someone had left a bunch of tea lights and there were some bottle caps, but I'll just bring a trash bag next time. Also I saw a comment where someone mentioned your Outback videos. Those are my favorite as well! I have a Crosstrek that I'm slowly putting together for camping. I'll be taking it out for a night of camping next to this hot spring soon. Thanks for all of your content and keep it coming!

Honestly both formats are neat to experience. I love your choice of music and the sheer work you put into capturing the footage and editing it. As for now, I think what you are doing is working. Eventually, when the channel grows much larger you could even split into two separate channels, one for no talking, adventure type stuff and the other with more technical talks. Just my opinion though. I am very glad I found your videos about 6 months back. I grew up in the U.P. of Michigan which is very similar in ways to the scenic stuff you like to explore (minus the mountains). Now I live in Indiana and man, I miss the ability to get out into nature so getting to watch your stuff is refreshing. Keep up the great work!

I honestly like a kind of hybrid of the two styles. I like just the nature and the beauty, but I also like when you chat with the camera. One of the biggest reasons I followed you, is your personality. I know just doing the cinematic nature theme is great-and is very pretty, but I think you also lose a bit of you in it, if you don't talk at all. Love it though bro... I need to make it back out to Idaho again soon, so freaking beautiful there.

HI Christopher, There are three reasons why I'd watch your videos (in this order): 1) How to find the location; 2) What it looks like, and, 3) how to camp there. No dialogue gives me only one reason to watch. Without information about how to get there, I can't even dream about visiting, which provides me no reason to watch. Nonetheless, t was a beautiful video. Thank you.

@@ChaseChristopher1 Lots of different styles out there. WanderWomen combine talking about their plans and their day with mostly no talking during the hike. Venture4wD is similar with some talking at various points, telling a story. Sailing Merewether has lots of talking because it is more of a glimpse of their life on a sailboat. Saunter Beyond had talking at the beginning and music during the hike in the second half. Trail Recon has lots of narration and explanations. I liked the drone shots in your video, especially going up the River. The overhead drone shots reminded me of the overhead shots on Epic Family Road Trip of Lando running ahead of the Jeeps. So maybe your style can be different, depending on the situation, but my wife and I liked the scenic views and drone shots. The worst KZbin videos are when the subject keeps the camera pointing at themselves. Keep the videos family friendly. Good luck and we look forward to more videos.

I'm more of a fan of some talking; videos are often made or not made by the personality of the host; yes views are amazing but people won't normally turn in to see them alone. Plus, the title says this was a 40+ mile ride but I can't say that I felt that to be true after watching it. It was fast, cut quickly and there was no anchor points for the viewer to grasp to gauge the difficulty if that makes sense. It doesn't have to be talking all the time but it does help with reference and caring for the host of the video.
