Great content Chase. Italy is very nice to visit for their history and landscapes. But at the same time it always amazes me why their infrastructure and buildings are so dilapidated compared to other countries in Europe (Especially North or central Europe)

Very informative. I live in the PNW 40 minutes north of Portland, but I'm up in the hills around 1100ft elevation. I get a ton of snow every year around february-march (last season I got 14 inches), but my commute south goes into town where there's either mild or no snow at all. I've been researching and just scheduled to get the Wildpeaks on my Forester in a few days and I was worried about buyers remorse. This video completely reversed that feeling.

First off, awesome videos! You do great quality! Second, dang, get a Odyssey, 16 years, over 220,000 miles, several chips in windshield, but no cracks, and no rips in leather seats, and that's with a bunch of kids. Mini van is the smartest vehicle when you've got kids. So tuck that behind your ear when you get to that stage in life 😂 Shoot, hauled a piano in this thing, 20 ft 2x8s, firewood, it's been a moving vehicle....who needs a truck when you got a mini van? 😂😂😂 And yes, it's GREAT for camping in, soooo much room 🤩

I have Odyssey too and I agree. Just wish that Honda will offer AWD and a bit more clearance like the Sienna. I am looking at Subarau for soft off roading but still not 100% on CVT as well the looks.

@bobby350z Yes! Not being AWD is my biggest complaint! Do the newer ones have AWD? I thought they did, but I don't know for sure. They are pretty decent on clearance but could be better, yes. Just get it lifted 😆 🤣

would love to see some plans on this and i would gladly purchase them from you. this is a such a good design for what i assume is 2019+ rav4 (including hybrid). seeing how this is built, i could easily leave one seat up (the left rear seat) so i can keep my child seat in there and just sleep on the right side.

Great solution, I'm going to do the same! One question. What's the point of curving it around the front seat instead of just use a rectangular piece of wood? Does it help stability or it's just for aesthetics?
@ChaseChristopher1
@ChaseChristopher1 16 күн бұрын
@@ua-deemon5813 right on! My theory was that it would help to stabilize it by preventing side-to-side movement as well as widening the suspension. It’s probably not necessary at all though.

@ChaseChristopher1 I don't have a jigsaw to cut it out, I am thinking of adding more paracord diagonally, like from the right carbine to the left side of the table and vice versa, hope this helps to stabilize it more

Hey Chase, just recently found your channel and love some of the stuff you pop on here. You mention would you buy another Subi. I'm on my 5th subi now and won't buy another Brand. You talked about the 4WD system. It is the best and I can show you why. Sure it's not going to beat a rock crawler like a Toyota 4wd troopy as we call them in Australia, but the fact that it's all symmetrical IS important. If you watch the following comparison between the outback and the Toyota Avenza (don't forget that Toyota owns Subaru) you can clearly see the difference in design philosophies when you compare the boxer design mated to the 4wd system and the transverse four cylinder that the T Avenza uses (which has to change the direction of the drive prior to going to the gearbox). This has big ramifications to the way the drive is handled. kzbin.info/www/bejne/paPcpJtni9qom7c Watch closely the drivetrain under the Toyota at around 02:46-02:48 and AGAIN at 04:35-04:37 (here on the right hand side of screen under the car!)!!! You will see the drive shaft JUMPING UP AND DOWN underneath the car. This can NOT be good for the gearbox, rear differential and possibly even the engine mounts!!! Imagine you are on one of your favourite back roads on snow that you and your wife love so much. this could be happening ALL the way there and ALL the way home as it continually struggles for traction. I would not want to own a car that does this every time I'm driving it over the long term!!! Anyway, I just thought you might be interested in this as it might influence your decisions going forward.

4:12n fun fact, when you see very old roman ruins, some of which are in portugal (thought not the one shown here), romans did indeed have concrete that has lasted 2+ millenia because of a fairly unique "quicklime" technique they used which allowed their concrete to be self-healing as cracks developed over time. iirc, with the roman concrete process, any new cracks healed within a few weeks when exposed to water (eg from rain). was a mystery for a long time. written up in a peer reviewed journal a couple of years ago.
