Mountain Creek Bike Park vs. YT Jeffsy

In this video I take my YT Jeffsy down some of the biggest and gnarliest trails at Mountain Creek Bike Park to prove a trail bike can handle some big jumps and drops. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the bike handled big hits and high speeds. It was a bit overwhelmed in some sections but overall it felt great and had no issues. Keep in mind it is the base model and only has 150mm of travel. It just goes to show that you should never not ride something you want to just because of the bike you are on. This was filmed on a gopro hero 4 black and a wearable gimbal. Big thanks to @benjamin_irons_shirts for helping film.

It certainly is! We are not sure but we are always looking for new spots. We are going to try and ride some new stuff in VT and the east coast in general and one of us might do a trip to Colorado.

Awesome video! Since this spec is sold out, would you go for the discounted outlet 2018 AL Comp (Pike RC/Deluxe RT/SLX/Guide RS) or the 2019 AL Base (34 Rhythm/DPS Performance/Eagle NX/Guide T)? Same frame but the Comp is 200 more.

You definitely proved that the jeffsy CAN ride park, but was it comfortable? Did you feel like you could spend the whole day riding everything the park has to offer? Really enjoyed the vid dude, you earned a sub.

So you said base model and 150mm of travel, so I am assuming you got the 27.5 correct? I've been debating with myself between the 27.5 and the 29. I rode a 29er stumpy as a rental and was blown away how easily I rolled over everything, but I'm also coming from a 26" turd

First off....thanks! To be honest there were some times where the bike felt out of its element but only on the biggest of hits. If you ride black trails at bike parks regularly then go capra, otherwise get a jeffsy and you will love it.

If you are riding stuff like dump truck often I'd go with a Capra but the jeffsy can do it

I have a friend that hits cabin on a trail bike and I clear the step up on crap shute, but I’ve never tried the little step down. Is the step down sketchy?

It's not too bad if you commit and ya the cabin drop is actually very forgiving if you hit it right.

If you feel under-biked with the Jeffsy then go with a capra but just know it is a lot of bike.
