I have recently got suggestions watching for the mountain of hell. I saw that in 2023 there was no snow, but in this run there was so much of snow

Yeah, I’ve done it 6 times and 2022 was very disappointing for snow, so the start line was at 3200m at the bottom of the glacier, rather than 3600m at the top ☹️ 2017 was a great race but a bit difficult for visibility at the top, if you watch my 2016 or 2018 videos you get the full sunshine effect, enjoy 😎

Peter Whitmore this year was the third time I have done MOH after doing Mega twice previously, 2016 was a much easier run, better conditions, you may like to view the video for that too at kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6e3Z3itbpuqitk also on my channel are the QUALIF for 2016 and 2017 which you may enjoy as well!

Brian Metzker it's about 20k with 2.6k vertical drop! Startline at 3600m at -20 degrees, finish line at 800m 25 degrees! Amazing fun, here's last years video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6e3Z3itbpuqitk and QUALIF for 2016 and 2017 are on my channel as well, happy viewing 👍🏻

great video, thank you for sharing!! how much does it cost to enter the event? it is a drag when the path gets blocked by other riders, to leave in waves might reduce that, probably not, lol.

freddixon it's about 80€ to enter which includes lift passes for fri-sun, qualification is on Saturday, race on Sunday, check out my 2016 race and Qualif for 2016 and 2017 on my channel, cheers for watching 👍🏻

and you have to qualify to do the run in the mass group?

freddixon you qualify on Saturday for your line in the 'Le Mans' style start! If you have a mechanical and you don't finish the qualifier, you start from the back of the grid, but there are only about 30 lines anyway, so unless you are Jerome Clementz, it doesn't make much difference 👍🏻 apologies for late response, have been out riding in L2A all week and wifi is a bit hit and miss 🙄

how many meters you go down and how many km is the whole track the body cam is much better than the head cam

Hi, thanks for watching, the race is about 20km with 2800m vertical drop. Check out 2018 race (& 2016) both on my channel, along with qualifiers which are a shorter different route race (the day before) but equally challenging. The 2018 race is filmed on head cam as I unfortunately lost my chest cam half way down the qualifier, but the chest cam will return for the 20th Anniversay MOH in 2019, hope you enjoy my other videos....

Finished the race, but it was much tougher than 2016 because of the weather conditions. The 2016 race kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6e3Z3itbpuqitk which you can watch on this link is a much better indication of what this race should be like.....
