Great shot on the run Stu, 250 m out and dropped like a bag of the proverbial,well done to compose yourself after the missed shots, that is a great sign of a quality hunter.
@HuntingwithStu3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate the first shot actually knocked the pig off it's feet. Chest shot but it soon recovered. I think I missed the second shot but yes took an extra 1/2 second to do a rear brain shot. Had to still aim in front of the pig about 1/2 a metre though as he was motoring.

There are three ways that kangaroos can be shot and sold, one is for skins with the meat left in the paddock, and the other way is pet food and the other human consumption. I was a roo shooter for five years.
@jakefarrer20393 жыл бұрын
ThePa1nter oh righto. Why don’t ya keep the meat when your shooting for skin or is it Just cause?
@ThePa1nterhowto3 жыл бұрын
@@jakefarrer2039 There is far too much meat to do anything with it, except shoot pigs on it, those kangaroo's in the chiller would be over three tonnes of meat, impossible to handle or do anything with. Skin shooting is more popular in outback properties that are to far from chillers. I was over 100 mile from chiller and would camp for the week and shoot 500 roos (skins)and then carcass the last night for fuel money on the way home.
