Perfect example of why "some" people SHOULD be aloud to have semi's, given a good old SKS Stu could be even more effective at feral control mind you he has ridiculously quick target acquisition and aim with a bolt. Keep up the good work Stu we need more guys like you out there to help eradicate the pests and preserve what is left of our native habitat.

This is one of the reason for leaving the kills There is growing concern in New South Wales about a disease that is spread by feral pigs and can cause infertility among humans and dogs. Swine brucellosis is widespread in parts of Queensland and infects pig-hunting dogs, but can also spread to humans through blood contact. In Australia, the infection is only common in feral pigs, not domestic pigs. University of Sydney Epidemiology lecturer Siobhan Mor said the disease was being detected in parts of north-western NSW and one dog has even been diagnosed in Sydney. Plus they are a pest to Australia and kill our native wildlife and these guys are probably paid to kill and leave the kills
@mindsetoverhaul
@mindsetoverhaul 6 жыл бұрын
Benjamin Does this mean it's unsafe to cook and consume infected pigs?
@benjaminbec
@benjaminbec 6 жыл бұрын
mindsetoverhaul yes you can but it not worth the risk of getting Swine brucellosis because it comes with many things which can cause death and many medical difficulties plus when preparing and cooking the pig Swine brucellosis can be transferred from pig to the hunter or person preparing the kill but in this video I think it is mainly because they are contract killers and are asked to leave their kills behind

Hunting with Stu I'd love to bag at least one Roo on my trip to hunt pigs in Australia this summer... When you use an airgun to hunt hogs, you'll be amazed at how hard the pellets hit. They drop like a rock. I'd recommend nothing less than 30 caliber but I use Hatsan and Benjamin 25 cal. and they work just fine. Stu, check out KZbin search "Keith Warren airgun Hog hunt" and watch him down several hogs with 22 calibre airgun. Quite amazing.

Great video, how does one get into hunting? From NSW.
@HuntingwithStu
@HuntingwithStu 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Get online on the SSAA website and do some research. Basically you will need access to a property that holds feral animals and then you can go for a shooters license as one of the questions asked will be why do you need a gun. Hunting is a recognized reason but you need access to prove that you have a spot to go hunting.

Isaac J its a catergry a,,b it falls under centrefire shotgun/rifle not containing more than 5 rounds in the magazine if you can own a centrefire or rim fire/shotgun you can own the Adler,cool shotgun and faster than a pump that you need a another class license to own.thats in sa anyway

@HuntingwithStu
@HuntingwithStu 6 жыл бұрын
The Adler is great mate. However, you do have to treat it like ya stole it. Work that lever like you mean it and it won't stuff up. However, if you go easy on the lever you will catch the empty as you cycle the action sometimes.
@brownyb1014
@brownyb1014 6 жыл бұрын
Hunting with Stu thanks stu don't think that will be a problem for me got an old Lee Enfield sporter I love to run fast when can. So it tends to hang on the empty when you work it slow? I have heard some people complain about it bashing there hand around is that a problem or do you think people been wimps?

Thanks mate, Nth East QLD around the Gulf way is great for big blocky boars. There is a lot of big stations up that way. My suggestions is to set aside a weekend and go for a drive and drop into some of these stations and ask permission with a face to face visit. You will only need access to one station mate, take a couple of bottles of bundy to give as a thankyou if you get lucky.
