Mountain Pygmy-possum (our coolest possum)

The critically endangered Mountain Pygmy-possum is one of the coolest animals that call Victoria home, found in the alpine and sub-alpine regions in Victoria and New South Wales.
Healesville Sanctuary currently holds a research and breeding population of Mountain Pygmy-possums, with keepers taking care of these tiny possums in a special climate-controlled ‘fridge.’
