I used it this fall in a small partial sun plot. The deer really loved it and it grew despite having less than one inch of rain the first 6 weeks. I didn't do a soil test or add fertilizer. I'll likely try it again.

Great to see it coming up in a short time. Now.... don't forget to come back with videos of your plots after they've been planted for about 6 to 10 weeks. Thanks for the vid

That looks like my woods I am trying to get sun into to do this for the first time ever, only a ten acre lot of land so hinge cutting and all that but on a small scale. I have two spots I am gonna clear cut and girdle for micro food plots. Still have to figure out what seed will be best for a newly cut down forest floor and no equipment really. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, grows out there.

Hey Jeff! I bet you’ll have some good success even on a new plot. I planted totally new spots this season with “No BS” from Domain Outdoor and that stuff grew up great and the deer crushed it!

@@mountainbuck I'm working B shift so my scouting just got cut by more than half and working 6 days a week. By the time I get my chores done on Sunday it's a rush to go pull cards and scout some of the fields. Your doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work and good luck to you this year, Iif I can ask a favor from you, try to find early season seeds that grow under canopy. Thanks,

@@danielcondon1607 nothing wrong with hard work!💪🏻 have you tried cellular trail cams? I’m a big fan as the photos and videos come right to you. They have drastically cut down on how often I pull cards. I’ll keep an eye out for early season, shade tolerant seeds 👍🏻

@@mountainbuck yeah I run a handful of cells also, but i try run the cheapest subscription, now if I was rich I'd have the unlimited plan, I just can't justify that kind of spenders for 1 buck. I already spend allot.

Great Videos! Just curious if you did a soil sample test up there at what the PH was. I really like the domain products and want to purchase some for my plots by my soil is pretty acidic like 5.1. Not sure how the seeds will fair in that. I have added a bunch of lime but haven’t sampled since.

Hey Michael! Thanks for checking out my channel and for the kind words! I have done some PH tests on my property and it's also pretty acidic. I haven't done any type of soil analysis in this area however, but I will in the future for sure. I'm a really big fan of Domain Outdoor as well and did a Hot Chic food plot close to this No BS plot. I know that mix is good in a wide range of PH levels (including acidic soil). Best of luck with your Food plot! Let me know how you make out!
