This reminds me of a run I did as Switzerland, where I just built up my country over years, and basically made a fortress of a nation (this was before bba, mind you), and every time Germany looked like they were going to attack me I was like "do it. This isn’t the worst start There is an even worse start, playing as Kuwait. At the start of the game you are apart of the British colony and have to free them, by rushing down the decolonization path then when you start you have ONE state with zero civs and mils, and I think no building slots, you need to use focused to add building slots and civs and then build, and since you are a one state you need to conquer to have more building slots. But you are sandwiched between Iraq and Saudi’s Arabia, if you try going to war with either you’d die. And you have 80k population, so you have to quickly turn communist to use the karl marx painting. I tried it and half way through I gave up
