@@drdiscostu i dont think challenges work the way you think they do. One side picks a mini and issues a challenge the other side pick a mini and accepts or declines. and you can only have one challenge per combat.

Thanks for another awesome bat rep guys. Genuine question, how much does a unit need to move forward when it fails stupidity? The rule says it must "move" but it doesn't specify how much. In previous editions it was the full M capacity, in others D6. I've seen other batreps choosing to move 1" after failing the check. What's your take?

It's obvious that high level wizards aren't costed high enough to make it a difficult choice. Right now it's an easy choice, but if it cost more than 30 points to upgrade to level 4 then you might think about the value proposition a little more. How do you find the Hex spells that dump enemy stats, like itchy nuisance. I'm wondering if the D3 is too much, and the value in such spells reducing statistics by even just 1 is good value. Spells that dump leadership seem like high value due to the way fall back in order works.

I liked how T9A handled wizard levels. A level 1 and 2 wizard get +1 to cast/disspel. A level 3 and 4 Wizard get a +2 to cast/dispel. Higher wizard level will still net you more spells so is overall more advantageous. But this way a level 1 or 2 aren't completely trash simply because they can't hang in the casting/ dispelling game.

Personally I think Slann are costed very well. Maybe even overs. They're a lot to sit at the back and throw spells.

Steve very interesting you think High is easily the best. Most lizardmen players i talk to think elementalism is #1 and high #2. Personally I'm excited to play necromancy and 2-3 terror causing dinosaurs.
