Brilliant bit of kit. I have a dodgy back so stooping over anything can be a pain. Abit of a game changer for me. Cheers good little review.

Morning Adam! What a little beauty and of you already have the poles, winning 🏆👍 You nailed it too, I was thinking this isn't going to work! I'm sure it would take Kat with ease, I have my doubts about it hold me tho lol! Or if I'd bend the poles 🤭😳 Now the inflated back rest was super cool too! Thanks Adam 🥰 Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 🗺 🧭

Cool I was looking at these ages ago, almost did buy it but thought I don't use trekking poles lol. Its a brilliant idea though. If I do ever decide to get the trekking poles in use, I might consider one at some point. Great review adam

Once you try trekking poles it's hard to go back especially for long distance! Cheers

Was looking at those a while back. Clever design. Valley and Peak show thenpics with the seat pad on the top though. Odd they didnt put a pouch in the top to hold it there. 👍
@MrWildWales3 жыл бұрын
I think the pad would slip off the top straight away there unless I modded it. I think I'll just use a foam sit mat under it

That looks a good idea, only thing is I’m buggered once I’ve used my poles to put the tent up 😂 If I’m out on a day hike I’d just use my foam sit pad. The sea to summit air chair or thermarest trekker chair that turn your air mat into a chair might be better options for similar money.

That's true good point 👍 I think it's definitely worth having a back rest if you can though

I love this design. My only issue is that the times I like chilling in a chair are almost always when ive set up camp, and then I use hiking poles for my tent. So I'd need to carry extra poles to use it..
@MrWildWales11 ай бұрын
Yeah that's true its only good before you set you tent up. I've ended up not taking it quite a lot. I suppose you could pull the poles out of the tent when you're using it
@R33CO3 жыл бұрын
I love the idea Mate. I agree with you for a few grams more they could have designed the klymir v seat to sit on top and not underneath, as its going to get punctured. Also I would also like to see it a little wider. ATB Reeco

neat little bit of kit im the same as northern images my tent uses my trekking poles do you think it would work with some chopped down tent poles ?
@MrWildWales3 жыл бұрын
Depends how strong the pole is. I think you'd be better off with chopping a couple of sticks to size
@Jonsoh8113 жыл бұрын
I’m looking for a chair and this might do the trick, but I don’t own trekking poles. What length/diameter should the poles/sticks be to work? You could then make it a tripod for more stability if need be. (Even DIY the fabric for extra width if need be) How do you experience the width? And the fact that you’re on/close to the ground? Could you put your pack beneath it for added height?
@MrWildWales3 жыл бұрын
Hmm I'm not sure you could try some sticks and chop them down if too large. It's pretty stable with 2 surprisingly. I did use it the other night and the ground got saturated and I started getting a damp

@northernswedenstories102811 ай бұрын
It's been done before. I forget who it was but pretty sure it was a UK designer. The backpack had two sockets on the front of the pack for hiking pole to slot into, then you just leaned against your pack
