Not sure why could you not fly to Dubai and take a bus to Abu dhaby. Always best to keep 2-3 day stop in transit country also you might get travel insurance. Harassment is only in Indian airports always Never buy a ticket from third party ever always book hotels right when you land at destination but keep one day booked for immigration. Try to buy US travel insurance with some sort of covid protection. Your friend can get a us add on credit card for you and then you bit the insurance on the card and some cards have free built in travel insurance Us customers usually get refunds for tickets purchased in USA cancelled by the airline by law

Choosing the service provider's website over any third party website for flight ticket booking is a very valid advice. Last year I used Third party and it took almost an year to get the money back. A little extra is worth it.

Heartbreaking to hear Varun! Love your videos. I completely understand what you're going through. Its been over a year and I'm yet to receive my refund of upwards of Rs 50k from eDreams, booked using Wego. They only have a UK number but no resolution. PSA for everyone else: Until travel restrictions are normalized, it's probably best to book directly from airline websites.

I work with British Airways and I know how Airlines are having their own policies in this pandemic and transit from AUH is mostly not allowed. Beware of booking tickets through a third party as they will not give you your money back!! So I can understand your pain Varun. Things are very uncertain nowadays. Its better to wait for the restrictions to lift off.

Ethiyad is allowing u travel and transist through Abudhabi . Depends the demands destination point and layover time too. Am traveling on 16th via Ethiyad to Dublin , transiting at Abudhabi for 2 HRS. But i cant see why they wont allow me as i have EU resident permit too.

Mate, You could have used your US Visa for arrival visa in Dubai, and take a Bus from Dubai to Abu Dbhi, and parallelly reschedule your flight from Abu Dabhi for next day.

I'm one of the thousands of subscriber who watches every video and enjoy ......it's very sad to face this issue....yet u maintained the smile...appreciate that!!! Btw, I just want to emphasis on 2 things 1. The things are very uncertain and hence anything can happen to anyone ....Advantage of having a genuine travel agent support would've saved you a lot (not just money).....I don't recommend the online booking during this pandemic times 2. After reviewing ur flight ticket in this video, I see the issue is not about the transit in Abu Dhabi....I think the permission is not allowed is because u got 2 different flight tickets (AI & WIZZ AIR)....this booking doesn't allow you free transit as the 2 airlines doesn't have the inter-line agreement...I'm pretty sure they would've allowed you to travel is your onward ticket is Ethihad(Via AUH) or Emirates(via DB) upto Kiev...

Yes UAE transit is open only for Dubai not from sarkha and abu dhabhi. If you want to confirm before your planning and want transit then check their carriers i.e. etihad - abudhabhi , emirate -Dubai and airarabia - sarjha... And also I recommend that qatar airlines is safe now a day's for transit journey as well...even Serbia also good option for transit

You might have gone to Dubai; you could get entry in Dubai as you have US visa and then go to AbuDhabi by a cab; but not sure what time was your connecting flight from AD to Kiev

Hi Varun, sad to hear that. Traveling is unexpected now a days. Come to oman, its open for tourism and safe compared to other places at the moment. Full of nature and surprises! You can plan Oman for 15 20 days, then you can travel to European destination what you have planned further through pegasus airlines, which costs very low.

In the USA, the credit card companies generally refund your ticket in such situations because it is not your fault. My credit card company returned $8000 of family tickets. Try your credit card company if you charged

When I was in college we planned a trip to not so far. The train was in the morning 3 am. We were 7 friends it was fun we went to station at 1 am while it was 5 minutes walking distance from my house because we couldn't sleep. We reached station, train was late by 1 hr, they announced. Later 1 hr again it was late for two hr.... now It was 6 in the morning. At 7.30 we heard that train has been cancelled. We were upset. We bunked the college to travel. But you know after 1 month we again got chance to make a trip ant that was absolutely amazing which the previous trip could never be if happened. Something great is to come. Hope is a big thing ❤️
