If I have more pixel strings than roof line, can I cut the string to match? And of course, re-wire the ends.

With pixels you can do this easily. When I cut strings I always put a connector on the end.

What spacing was your strand, 6” or ?

The pixels I use have the standard 4 inch spacing. Not sure if the spacing between the icicle strands. I purchased them from Gilbert Engineering. It should be on there website
