Thanks, James. Nice video! I used a similar method, with lousy results. I tried to glue a 22x28” loose canvas print to posterboard twice, using Elmer’s Glue All (which, I understand is essentially PVA). Both times I ended up with lots of bubbles, and the glue seemed to dry way too quickly. I suspect the posterboard absorbed it, so the next time I’ll use a piece of hardboard, with the same glue. Do you think it will work?

Hi Alexander, thanks. I don’t know about your glue one way or another, I only know my choice works. The mounting surface really needs to be stable enough not to warp… I doubt 1/4 Hardboard is thick enough to stay flat at that size, unless it’s substantially braced in the back.

This looks great! But what do you do with the sides? Do you paint them in one color or cover them with a frame?
