Bfg is notoriously small for their advertised size, as most big name tire manufactures are. I think you'd love the 39"bfg km3. They're extremely expensive for whatever reason though. Around $750 a pop. A decent 40" is around 500. I cheaped out and got the kanati mug hogs in a 39 12.50 r17. Extremely narrow tires but height is decent, like a true to size 38".

Hey Jason, I know you like to always prep and go a little overkill so just want to recommend looking into the 3m adhesion promoter (rust-oleum also has a similar product). You apply it to anywhere you'll have 3m tape such as you used on the TPMS. It increases the bond strength by a lot and definitely recommend it.

Oh man, another autoedits video?! Thanks Jason! I upgraded tires on my JL to 37 inch ridge grapplers last year and it was a pretty big difference in terms of ride quality compared to my 34 inch ko2’s. I ran the 39 km3 for a little over 2 years, wheeled all over southern NM eastern TX NC and eastern Arizona they were phenomenal I did slash 2 though near the end, they took so much abuse and did chunk some without failure. Now being said they are load range C and are softer than the 37 variety and perform much better than the 37 load range E my buddies hated those and never hooked on obstacles that my 39s did. If the Patagonia was new, I imagine it's 2" taller than the bfg. The 39" km3 = 38" Patagonia in size and tire flex. The load e isnt going to flex like a load c BFG 39×13.50.

Not hubcentric for a Jeep. 83mm bore, should be 71.5. No idea why they did that....

I was a little disappointed at first but now I'm looking forward to dialing this setup in. With these tires, I'll be able to "send it" a little harder on some obstacles.

Historically true and I was pleasantly surprised by the end result of this setup. The 13.5 width really makes a different.
