Bfg is notoriously small for their advertised size, as most big name tire manufactures are. I think you'd love the 39"bfg km3. They're extremely expensive for whatever reason though. Around $750 a pop. A decent 40" is around 500. I cheaped out and got the kanati mug hogs in a 39 12.50 r17. Extremely narrow tires but height is decent, like a true to size 38".

Hey Jason, I know you like to always prep and go a little overkill so just want to recommend looking into the 3m adhesion promoter (rust-oleum also has a similar product). You apply it to anywhere you'll have 3m tape such as you used on the TPMS. It increases the bond strength by a lot and definitely recommend it.

Nice video...Interesting choice. It doesnt seem apples to apples comparing the size of a soft rubber Patagonia with 35k miles to a new BFG. If the Patagonia was new, I imagine it's 2" taller than the bfg. The 39" km3 = 38" Patagonia in size and tire flex. The load e isnt going to flex like a load c BFG 39×13.50.
@AutoEdits2 жыл бұрын
it’s just a size reference. I’m curious to learn about how to maximize flex with lower pressure.
