Good video. Nice upgrade . Will be doing this to my 94 1500 2wd. I have a crazy idea, to convert the driving lights , since they're almost the same size as the headlights, to another set of headlights. And convert the corner light to park and turn. What ya think ?

How do you get your turn signal lights to come on with headlights ?? I’m going to do what you did in this video to my 94 c2500 but I was curious if you have a video for the turn signal bulbs and how you wired those to act as headlights and turn signals ?

Hey - just picked up a '73 Mustang Grande and the Tilt steering Column is busted. This video looks like exactly what I need to do but I am having a helluva time finding a part. Looks like this was ~10 years ago. Do you have the part number you used? FR might be able to do something custom for me.

@@ernestomurillo465I figured it out for the brake adjuster gear. Follow this Driver side - clockwise to tighten Counterclock wise to loosen Passenger side - counterclock wise to tighten Clockwise to loosen

Perfect timing-Turns out the seals on our 2015 JK are shot too. We've been dealing with water pooling on the floor for a while, and I recently noticed the bottom seals on both front doors have detached and won’t stay in the track anymore. Thankfully, being able to take the doors off will make the repair much easier. Looking forward to the header video!

I have a 2010 L322 SC and like how quiet it is when on the highway. Would be nice to turn up the volume with a switch. Do you have any experience or advice on installing an exhaust valve?
@AutoEdits14 күн бұрын
I don't think an exhaust cutout is a good option for these vehicles. I prefer a nice overall sound which this has. I also agree with you that these trucks actually sound pretty darn good stock and this kit just enhances that.

I’m kind of scared of doing it myself. I’m afraid of messing around with the axle and messing around and squashing that crush sleeve. And maybe overtightening 😊
@AutoEdits14 күн бұрын
You'd have to tighten past 150 ft.lbs. and that takes a lot of effort... so it's not likely unless you're really trying.

Thanks so much for this Jason. I have been fighting the wading pool of water that accumulates every time it rains on my '14 JKU. I've done the replacement to the newer MOPAR seals for both doors, as well as added a stick on gasket to the door frame itself. Now only the driver side is doing it (which is still so maddening.)

As a Jeep tech, the header seals a rarely bad, it’s the adhesive at the very ends that fail, I usually just use some butyl and fill in the gap and smooth it out. Even the new ones need butyl at the ends to get it sealed up right. Also the door seals will break in after a while

Like I said in the video, louder isn't always better. A good V8 is worth being loud, a weird sounding V6... yeah, probably better quieter. But whatever makes you happy is the best thing.
