Don’t listen to these idiots criticizing you, we all appreciate your videos and I have personally learned a lot from watching you for years. To all the cross contamination experts out there plz find something better to do with your time.

I mean it's not black and white. Both can be true. I've learn't a lot too. But at the same time, would a restaurant in my country upload a video like this it would be closed by the authorities within hours. He knows a lot. But also does stuff that would get you fired from McDonald's.
@Qlicky4 жыл бұрын
@Fheed Pexx Yeah, sure it would. For some reason people think kitchens are laboratories with kitchen staff walking around in hazmat suits and going into decontamination chambers before handling food. Chefs prepare food with hands, deal with it. Besides, whats the difference between using gloves and not using gloves, if youre not gonna change gloves for every other thing you touch? Food poisoning stems from gone bad, left out and rotten food, not because someone touched your tomato with their bare hands. Unless, you walk around all day wearing gloves and washing your hands 250 times a day. Which in turn means youre not giving your immune system any workout, and in that case its nobody's fault apaert your weak ass immune system's. Besides, the man is teaching you how to prepare food, not how to be the messiah of cleanliness. Just follow his steps but with washing hands 60 times during a meal if you so desire. And if you do any serious cooking you will soon realize that its just not feasible, nor productive in any way. Very unnecessary too.

Being a Greek Chef but currently working in London I just wanted to say that Greek Food is based on love, passion and quality of the product. Greek Food is not based on recipes, so great job chef ! Just to mention to the critics that moussaka is not originally made in Greece but in Romania, Greeks just changed the recipe. Much love Chef and ouzo cheers !

I love to read the hate comments on Jacks KZbin videos and his Yelp reviews. Obvious proletariat haters. This guy is very entertaining and the way he throws those butter pats in the skillet remind me of Larry Bird and how he used to drop threes from the paint all day.
@lingonberriesofwrath18365 жыл бұрын
What haters? I can count to exactly two negative comments in this entire comment section, and at least one (probably both) is an obvious troll. Only gullible idiots reply to obvious trolls. There are a lot more people bringing up the "hate comments", even though there barely are any. This is bad, because that makes people think more people are critical than they are. It's like when a news anchor says "some people say", and the one he's referring to is himself.
@Garth20115 жыл бұрын
Not so sure any haters carry any weight here. Jack is the nicest guy at all times...some folks might not follow along with his video editing to notice that his hygiene skills are done in between editing and his cooking is done during off hours. That stove would be full of pans and hands if he filmed during rush hour.

@@kitchentimeinc Try cooking and running a business with customers who require special foods. also, there are those who are allergic to things like nuts and forget to mention it to the server. It's rather risky business when an ambulance shows up to a restaurant, not fault of the chef.

10:00 - “There’s nothing better than a gift of food in a friendship.” Having grown up in Italy, in an old-school, traditional, large family, up until age 15, I remember my dear Italian grandmother, and her actions. Oh how true and wise these words are, from the Big Man! A gift of Home made food was worth more than a briefcase of gold, among my grandparents’ circle of friends, villagers and relations.... what happy - and mouth watering - memories....

Jack, Dominic, if you do go to Florence to try some good Italian food, then the restaurant in Central Florence called “Il Latini”, near the Ponte Vecchio area, is an Absolute MUST! Trust me. On busy evenings -mwhich means nearly every night - the queue goes halfway round the block, and they come out and pass platters of their cured hams, pizza bites, and other lovely mouthfuls to the waiting queue. All home made, of course. But then anyone - like your friend Dominic - who knows anything about Florence, will be very aware of Il Latini. It’s a crime not to visit!
