Incredible ... I am consistently amazed at level of detail , care and knowledge that goes into this! Does anyone know where the presenter got his fleece from too?

I have had problems with the chain jumping off and getting stuck between the chain ring and the frame, the problem is the inability to get the chain guard off without first removing the pedal arm. unfortunately i do not usually carry a puller with me. although this doesn't happen often it is a problemm. I eventually solved the problem by removing the buttom 90 degrees of the plastic chain guard.I can now easily remove the chain guard. Other than that issue, I really like the bike, it is one of the most comfortable bike I have ridden.

Sorry to hear about this, Jim, but good to know you've resolved your issue by showing some intuition with your plastic chain guard. Ah great to know! It continues to be one of our most popular electric bikes.

This is a problem on a lot of Bosch powered ebikes, maybe others too? I had to remove the chain guard & add a chain guide, but a double sided ring round the front cog would be a better solution, couldn't source one though. It's a really bad design decision by the manufacturers.

Is it possible to upgrade your size of Battery on any of them ? And can you also add the Bosch Dual Battery option on any of them ? I ask because I live in the sticks and the nearest towns are 10 or more Miles away, and usually uphill !

Hey Nick, on the Samedi 28.2, 28.3 and 28.7 - they all can fit the 625Wh PowerTube - however it's not an optional upgrade from the factory - so you'd have to purchase the battery separately! Dualbattery isn't an option on the Samedi 28 range unfortunately. Moustache do offer it on the Samedi 27 Weekend models though 🌇

At the beginning you mention open frame Vs closed frame as a rider that comes in at about 130Kg would you recommend the closed frame over the open frame as I'd assume a closed frame triangle to be more sturdy for the heavy rider. Also what is the weight limits for them please.
@FullychargedUK Жыл бұрын
Hi Cobra, The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is 135kg for both the Samedi 28.3 frame types. The Open frame is reinforced by the crank so it has the same strength and rigidity as the Closed frame 👍

@@FullychargedUK Thank you for the fast reply and the Samedi 28.3 has been added to my shortlist.

Hi congrats for the video. I am choosing between samedi 28.2 and samedi 27 xroad 1. the use i will do is 80% road and 20% light off road. My fear is the samedi 28.2 is not good enough for 20% light off road and samedi 27 xroad1 is not so much comfortable for 80% city. I am worry more about 20% light off road. Are i able to use the samedi 28.2 on light off road or have i to choose samedi 27 xroad? Changing tyres to 28.2 could i do in a better way light off road? Thanks a lot

I ride an entry level electric bike because I can't ride a standard bike anymore due to health issues. I live in a rural area and I am thinking of upgrading to something with better range. For me many electric bikes seem expensive but I would consider a new one but I still have 2 worries 1) How long will the battery last. Spending thousands on a bike only to find out the expensive battery has to be replaced after two years. 2) Finding out what the range of a bike is really likely to be. Saying " up to" means nothing and I have found bikes with a range quoted as "up to" 75 miles that only actually do 40 miles. This makes me reluctant to spend thousands on a new bike.
