At Lamberts Waldsassen glassworks in Germany (Lamberts-Glas / Glashütte Lamberts), the centuries-old glassmaking tradition not only lives on, but is also continuously developed.
With 70 employees, the traditional company from the Upper Palatinate is the world market leader for hand-blown flat glass. More than 5000 different colors and structures are produced in the glass factory.
The handmade glass has been used in numerous well-known buildings around the world. The clock faces of Big Ben in London, the Rockefeller Center in New York, airports and train stations in the USA, Europe and Asia are just a few examples.
There are also examples in the Upper Palatinate: the Walhalla, like the traditional Kneitinger restaurant in Regensburg, was refined with the glass from Waldsassen. New to the range is the patented and world's only hand-blown UV protection glass, which combines the brilliant look of hand-made glass panes with technically perfect UV protection.
In this video you can see how the noble glasses are made. Accompany us to the well-known Lamberts glass factory in Waldsassen!
