They had more hits, also solo afterwards. “I see a star” e.g. was the Dutch entry to Eurovision, ending third place in the same year Abba won, but became a small hit anyway.

Mouth and MacNeal was a Dutch pop duo that enjoyed some commercial success in the 1970s. They are best known for their million selling recording of "How Do You Do" in 1972, which topped the Dutch chart and became a U.S. top ten hit."How Do You Do," music and lyric by Hans van Hemert and Harry van Hoof.

Nah - I'd say they are more known for the songs "Hello-A" and "I See a Star" - both of whom topped the Swedish chart in the 70's.

Some genius said they Mouth and McNeil were known for “Hello-A” but that is horse manure. In the US “How Do You Do’ is the only song fans of the early 70’s remember them from.

It is now 2024 and I just heard this being played on Sirrus radio in the car. I was 13 when this song came out in 1972 so I probably heard it but I don't remember it.

Loved this song. “How do you do” “Cover of the Rolling Stone” “Hot Rod Lincoln” (reprise) For so many reasons 1972 was the best Summer of my life. Halter tops were popular among young women but few of them realized they didn’t fit well on the sides. I was training for a race, visited the Summer nationals, and a few months later I discovered that I wasn’t going to Viet Nam!
