I saw the Thumbnail for the video and thought "This is something I should know" but I didn't recognized the people or the name of the duo or the name of the song. I took a chance and YES, I have heard this many times on the radio in my early teens. Thanks, what a memory trip.

Recuerdo cuando oí por primera vez esta canción, tenía 7 añitos y cursaba mi 1er Grado. Caló tanto en mí que aún la recuerdo como si fuera ayer. ¡Gracia! Geert Mook por haberla compartido.

Thank you for that revival of the 70s. Long live the braless initiative of that period.... I love it

Got to thank the algorithm for this! Eleven year old me loved it whenever the song was played on the radio, but never knew the name of the group. I later got into punk and then hip-hop, but would still sing along if I heard it being played in the supermarket in NYC.

I fondly recall this song, played on our various AM stations, circa fall 1971. Such a fun and sweet song!

Mouth and MacNeal was a Dutch pop duo that enjoyed some commercial success in the 1970s. They are best known for their million selling recording of "How Do You Do" in 1972, which topped the Dutch chart and became a U.S. top ten hit."How Do You Do," music and lyric by Hans van Hemert and Harry van Hoof.

Nah - I'd say they are more known for the songs "Hello-A" and "I See a Star" - both of whom topped the Swedish chart in the 70's.

Some genius said they Mouth and McNeil were known for “Hello-A” but that is horse manure. In the US “How Do You Do’ is the only song fans of the early 70’s remember them from.

Wow, thanks for this! Maybe not my favorite song ever, but a great reminder of the '70's, when we had great pop and also Zeppelin at their peak. Long gone fun days.

They had more hits, also solo afterwards. “I see a star” e.g. was the Dutch entry to Eurovision, ending third place in the same year Abba won, but became a small hit anyway.
