I remember watching these extra contents on my PS2 games all the time when I was a kid! Most of them were only in English, without subtitles and back then, when I didn't understand English as perfectly as now, I never understood anything of what they said, but I always got entertained, especially by these ones in SSX Tricky! I liked seeing the live action voice actors recording the lines that I'd hear in the game! Watching these again now that I profoundly know English... it feels like watching a complete new version of them for the first time, being now able to understand what they say, lol

The gamecube lacked the max amount of data in those tiny disks, which is why there's like 6 games that needed 2 disks, there are some that fit behind the scenes videos like Mortal Kombat but it's pretty rare. I've seen a lot of crappy PS2 multiplatform ports but this game was built for the system.

As a kid I remember being mystified by some of the minor differences in the gameplay shown in these clips, like the hexagonal green arrow signs that were replaced by octagonal blue signs. I'd be interested in seeing an analysis of the beta version of Tricky, although something tells me there might not be quite enough beta footage out there to do it. What exists in these brief clips might be all we have.

My brother always picked Eddie, and I started with Elise, but ended up with Zoe. She´s my main till today. Edit: Billy Zane?? Oliver Patt??? Bif Naked???? Macy Gray?????? WTF??? We´ll never see this type of casting ever again. Its like having Josh Brolin (Thanos) as Brodi, Josh Gad as Luther, Sabrina Carpenter as Zoe. I didn´t undestand english when I was a kid, but now that I´m fluent and I´m visiting old games form my childhood I´m discovering a new world again.

I worked on this game. I never understood the characters for Eddie, Jean-Paul "JP" Arsenault, and Psymon. How could anyone ever relate to them and why were they ever created ??? Eddie, redheaded afro, Huh, Whuh? Jean-Paul was a wooden-personality d0uche who muttered in French, which most players never understood. Psymon?? Masochistic, pain-loving personality? Yes, there was a budget, but the voices should have matched the characters and I am sure the talent would have agreed to the pay, due to the great exposure they would have received. Marisol Diez Delgado should have been voiced by Daisy Fuentes, that's a no-brainer, as she had such a great personality and likeability on Mtv. Elise should have been voiced by Cameron Diaz. Brody should have been voiced by Owen Wilson, duh! If SSX Tricky ever has a reboot it should replace Mac with a character who represents snowboarding champion/pioneer Shaun White from childhood to adulthood. Replace Zoe Payne with a real female character of Katie Uhlaender as she is the greatest fit as an equal to Shaun White as an evolving character! Elise has long hair. Eddie should be replaced by a blond, blue-eyed, chisel-faced Norwegian or Danish dude who barely has an accent and uses American slang like, "dude, gonna, sorry my bad" voiced by one of the Skarsgard brothers. Jean-Paul "JP" Arsenault should be replaced by a Canadien up-and-coming actor. Add a new attractive female character, who competes against Elise in all ways, from the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania like Kelly Sildaru - who even looks beautiful without piled-on makeup. Instead of a childish, infinitesimal character, add a tall, male Japanese character who speaks English eloquently, without choppy plurals. Oh yeah, and Luther looks and is voiced by Stalecracker Official.

@@aarfan44 He's most likely lying that he worked on the game this game was sold in Japan and Italy thus having 2 foreign characters in the game literally every goth and emo liked Psymon and all these characters are fleshed out because they have info on all these characters including the interviews if he actually worked on the game he wouldn't have these "problems" about the characters
