You know what? I'd LOVE a sequel about Curly being rescued and getting fixed up, but obviously he's all messed up from being, ya know... So there's that angle of horror, but then we get flashes back to the pod, being put on ice, drifting in space. Maybe some close calls, floating towards a star, another asteroid, stuff like that. Not only the psychological breaking of being physically destroyed, but also wondering if he actually escaped, if he was actually saved, or if he's really still floating in a pod in space hoping someone finds him. Of course, I'm a sucker for horror of the "was it real or not" variety, so a story like that caters to my tastes.

Not sure if it wa sout of making it as simple as possible, but there were some mistakes, e.g., it didn't take Jimmy weeks to get to the medical with deceased Anya, the story jumps between different time points constantly (which makes great narrative btw), the crew still had few months of food supplies when they opened the cargo bay.

6:40 Jimmy did actually cut and eat curly's leg. You can see after all the visions, Jimmy had a plate of it (that is empty). Jimmy also forced Curly to eat too. All to "survive" with him and get through this together.

I wish there were more videos like this one. Some video games have great stories but they can be hard to follow when playing. I really enjoyed this story and you did a good job explaining it. Please do more of these where you explain the story in detail so that people can enjoy it, even if they have never played it before. Subbing for future videos like this one. If you find any Indy games that have great stories, please do the story like this one.

I do think that Jimmy was a shitty person but I don't think there's really any evidence he r-worded her. I think it makes more sense that she found out she was pregnant after they had a fling (or several) and knew what type of person he was and was afraid to tell him. Edit: I don't actually believe this anymore, check reply to see my updated impressions of the game and Jimmy.

He was a terrible person omg…Did we watch the same gameplay? That man purposely put everyone in jeopardy! And the game didn’t exactly spell it out that he r worded her because the devs probably thought people would use common sense and context clues. She literally said she wanted to protect herself from him! Questioning why certain doors wasn’t locked. Also Jimmy was very disturbed way before the crash. He was sexually attracted to that mascot. He was becoming increasingly horny and took advantage of the ONLY woman there. There was genuinely nothing she could do out of space and he knew that. She told the captain and he didn’t do anything because he wanted to see the good in him…in everybody. Jimmy was angry and scared because had they made it back home she could have gotten him locked up and he was going to be jobless. The man was a narcissistic butthole. In the end he still didn’t take responsibility. He took the easy way out and treated himself like a hero

First of all, I start the comment with "he was a shitty person" which I think is "terrible person" adjacent so I'm not sure where you think I'm disagreeing here. And as far as the rest of the game, I'm curious, did you play it? My comment is coming literally hours after I had played the game, and I'll say if there's anything that the game attempts to do WHILE you're playing it, is gaslight you along with the rest of the crew into thinking Jimmy has some rationale in his actions. (until the very end of course) Now that I've read a bunch of discussion on the game, I DO agree that he probably SA'ed Anya. The issue is the game purposefully gives you an "out" for all of the questionable things he might have/did do. There's always this rationale from the Captain, or some deflection from Jimmy. So at times it can feel like in the moment Jimmy might have not done what the game is implying. This goes along with the themes of not taking responsibility, and how much the Captain was too "nice" and covered for Jimmy and made excuses for him. So with that said now that I have some time away from the game (I literally only beat it yesterday) I definitely agree with the SA happening, and having seen other playthroughs it is incredibly evident just how much Jimmy is manipulating everyone every step of the way.

For the uh. full proof i think all the focus is on the line of "why don't they lock the crew doors?" that Anya asks. That's more evidence than anything else which is why it's more confirmed rather than speculation.
