DELICIOUSLY EASY & SAVORY ONE PAN CHORIZO & BISCUIT BREAKFAST CASSEROLE!! for breakfast what's not to like about it? Chorizo casserole using cheesy hash browns, and eggs all compiled up into one extra large breakfast casserole is a winning dish that's sure to satisfy!!! I love Chorizo, I grew up with a Hispanic best friend this is a page I took out of his book. Chorizo & biscuit breakfast casserole is very filling, satisfying, and comfort all in one! Chorizo is a well versed ingredient used traditionally in the Hispanic culture but I have the utmost respect for their culture and food. My favorite food is Mexican along with Soul food so this was a no brainer to enjoy the best of both World's a rich and flavorful Chorizo and casserole an all in one game changing recipe. Chorizo breakfast casserole can be prepared in advance and frozen for 1 - 3 months.
Ingredients - Chorizo (2) packs, eggs (6), (2 bags) hash browns, cheese slices/shredded (optional), of preference, biscuits.
Cooking instructions
- add 3 TBSP oil and skillet fry/pan sear hash browns according to packaging instructions.
Set aside once they are done wrap and keep warm.
- cook Chorizo until done per package instructions it can be extremely greasy so place onto multiple paper towels to soak up some of the grease. No need to add grease or oil to the pan Chorizo makes quite a bit of oil in itself. drain and reserve grease, Set aside.
- scramble 6 eggs once beaten in a large bowl
- In a large bowl add hash browns, eggs, cheese, and Chorizo mix well.
- Serve and enjoy this fulfilling on the go meal or freeze any extras for future enjoyment!!
