You still can buy sugar cane juice in the food court of shopping malls (Central Park Mall, Lippo Mall Puri, etc) for about IDR 15-20K / cup ..

During fasting people eat sweet potatoes . They just cook it in a pressure cooker and some times for example in our home.... sweet potatoes are made with spicy chutni.....like the fillings in a samosa all mashed up......it tastes so good
