Move A "Jack Of Diamonds" Heart Leaf Brunnera (4K) - August 5, 2024

Purchased 2 year ago. Love the big bold leaves with the dramatic patterns. First Spring in my yard was good. There were many growing points and big bold leaves appeared after.
Divided in is its second Spring, after a harsh January and March. Its progress is behind that of the previous year. Now moving it so I can see it better.
Not a good time to move in summer......Spring and Fall are better.

I really like this plant! I planted mine after seeing yours. It has taken the harshest of treatments with freezes on its early foliage to super hot days with some brief direct sun. It just keeps growing beautifully without complaint. Now I know it gives free plants too lol! Thank you!❤

Thanks for sharing your experience. This plant is relatively new in my yard. Glad to hear it is a tough one. Hope it takes the transplant well. So not the right time! With the weather so warm, I can only work where it is shaded 😉😉😅

Nice video I've just bought a Brunnera 'Alchemy silver' which has got hardly any green in the leaves. They are a member of the 'Forget me not' family hence the pretty blue flowers in the spring. Like you said they have to be in full shade.
