You would need to use the actual tools: rotate tool, scale tool, etc.

So in changing direction of the pattern, you have already made a box with the pattern in it and placed it with the Draw Inside tool mode?

Hi, Janet. I'm actually not using Draw Inside in this video, though I do use it in another video about warping the pattern. In this video, I've already made a pattern swatch, and once I fill the shape with the pattern, I can use the Rotate tool to change the direction of the pattern. Thanks for watching and commenting!
