ABOUT THIS VIDEO
We get questions from good people all over the world asking, "How can I come to the USA to work and live?" Well, the truth is that it's very rare for a person to simply "show up" and live in America with permanent residency from the first day.
There are two, clear cut, and sequential, paths that lead from a temporary arrival to permanent residency (if you eventually, after you arrive, want permanent residency): (1) arrive as a student; or (2) arrive as a worker with a job offer.

Ignorant, Christopher Columbus was responsible for leading the fleet that reached the American continent on October 12, 1492, under the orders of the Catholic Kings of Spain, in the so-called discovery of America. Therefore my dear the USA and a country colonized totally by immigrants, all that live in this country has and its ginealogica tree an ancestor that came from another country mainly European origins

Hey Art, My name is Ryan and I am a U.S. Citizen. The better part of a year ago, I met a girl from the Philippines who was sent with a J1 Student visa to open the JW Marriott Austin hotel in February 2015 where I was also working. We have been together for almost that whole time and her visa expires January 25, 2016 with a 30 day allowance for travel within the country. We mustered up the courage to look at the page in her passport that pertained to the 2 year rule and it says that she the bearer is not subject to code 212e. We are planning to get married before the visa expires and file the I 30 to switch her status , but I just want to know; do we really have to rush into marriage like this if she isn't subject to the 2 year rule or can we take as long as we need to have the wedding that we truly desire and have her still be able to obtain permanent residency in the future? Thank you so much for reading.

Hi Mr. Art, well, I have a very peculiar case involving a child who came to the US with his parents for a visit to his grandparents who live here. He wanted to study in America and so he joined middle school. In the meantime, his dad who wanted to save his visitor status and B1/B2 Visa, went back to his home country before the 6 month stay permit expired. His child ran out of status by overstaying, but continued to study in the US and successfully graduated high school last year. He is now in college. Now here comes the problem. Since he hasn't got legal status or Social Security, he is unable to apply for scholarships and this is proving a burden to his father who now has to send money from out of the US to fund his son's college education. Someone was talking about filing for DACA (I don't know what that means) because he entered the US legally years ago and completed high school. Could you please throw some light on how this young man can get some kind of legal status in the US? Thank you.

If you're looking to get a student visa and need a sponsor to pay for your education, it seems that the best sponsors would be to either sponsor yourself or have family members sponsor you from your home country. If you know someone from the States that will sponsor you, the officer at the U.S. Consulate/Embassy will likely deny you in your interview because of your ties with that person/to the U.S. (family member, girlfriend/boyfriend; friend, whatever); the burden is on you to prove to the officer that you're coming back home after you're done studying, that you're not using the visa to immigrate. Therefore, it's probably best to show as few ties to the U.S. as possible. You don't want those ties on your record, and you don't need to make it harder than you need to.

I need to get my Colombian Fiance to America soon as I can, my father's health is bad, and I'm here in Bogota. We are having a hard time trying to get married here. They want me to have a certified birth certificate less than 30 days old, and that's IMPOSSIBLE! I don't want to return to the U.S. without my fiance because I don't trust how the travel restrictions can change (especially because I refuse to have a vaccine). What can we do to get to the U.S. together... soon as possible??

hello sir, is that always possible in 2017 with trump policy??:
@ArthurSerratelli
@ArthurSerratelli 5 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, yes. Trump just screwed things up for people subject to his "Travel (read 'Muslim') Ban" and for the poor folks arriving as refugees that he is sticking in cages at the border . . . but, the American doors are still wide open for students and for people with work visas . . . Trump, what a headache this guy creates . . . and MUCH OF IT is not even true . . . if his goal is to scare the hell out of everyone, he's doing a good job . . . UGH . . . things are not as bad as the news media would have you believe . . . BUT THINGS ARE BAD (really rotten bad) for Muslim Ban sufferers and for Refugees

Is this guy still going? This video was made like 4 years ago. I kinda know what I want to do, but I don't know what visa will let me do it. I want to get middle school maths training to be able to teach in New Jersey after I finish my degree here in the UK. last year of which I changed from computer science to a 60 credit "comparative and international studies in primary education" 30 credits of "mathematical thinking"( basically teaching key stages 2 to 4, ages 7 to 16) and 30 credits of "algebraic thinking" (key stages 2 to 3). I don't have a PGCE or masters. Any advice? Is this guy still around or no point emailing him?

So if someone comes here as a visitor and finds a job in a family business (but not immediate family) can he/she apply for a working visa then?? Or does it have to be a serious job like as part of a company etc.? I know someone who came here as a visitor and found a job in his aunt's restaurant and also was offered another permanent job in another restaurant so can he/she apply for the work visa? Also do they apply for it from here or when they return back home can they apply for it from there..?

Yes, it is very realistic to work gor a family-owned company in the USA, especially on an E-2 visa. E-2 EXAMPLE: Pretend you are French and you come to the USA to work in a clothing store owned by your Uncle, who lives in France. You can work in your Uncle's French-owned American business because you are French and alive! GOOGLE "E-2 Treaty Countries" to see which countries have the E-2 Treaty with the USA

Hey I just finished my school this year here in Germany and now I would love to move to new york to live there and work and probably to study. Unfortunally the GreenCardLottery for 2019 already ended ( as far my concern goes) So I dont see any chances to move to the US without to start a study, or is ther any chance? Great Video and thank you Edit: I already did a three months internship in Miami this year, if this helps in any way, but just with the ESTA-Visa And I am looking for a way to stay longer in the US.
